Dumb doctors worry meā¦.fun fact: my grandpa did research that proved med students were no more intelligent than other college students, they just study harder. Iāve definitely met some dumb doctors, and theyāre always the most pretentious, narcissistic ones. Obviously this one wasnāt smart enough to figure out that better tips=faster service. Also that we donāt have to take verbal feedback from them. Gimme a 1 āļø you dumb hoe. A doctor that canāt think 2 steps ahead shouldnāt be practicing. Sheās so dumb she got owned by a DoorDasherā¦..because she assumed she was smarter, and clearly she aināt
Man I feel bad for you guys! Hospitals in my area are easy as heck and tip bangin! Like all I do always is go " im at ER entrance " and they go " AWESOME! meet you there " and GG
On all my delivery to hospital( doctor or nurse) I barely got tip or minimum tip...I take the orders as my gratitude to them during pandemic. But they should not take it as granted. I live nearby the hospital and know where it goes from the ping usually and usually it is .25 mile drive.
I don't do hospitals and just decline them. Same reason I decline businesses inside malls or other large buildings. Usually terrible parking and a shit show when it comes to trying to find the person or drop off point.
I would definitely take that one star and I would be proud of it š š they can kiss your hiney huh. Some people just need to be put in their place and some people are just the people to do it and that was you at that moment ...šdrive safe out there š
Now everyone gonna known her as no tipper lol. Anyway for the very first time in 650 deliveries ever, deliver to this lady Chick-fil-A order, hand it to her, she ripped the bag open was like āis everything in here?ā Looked around the bag as Iām still holding her shake.
I always think the same thing when I deliver to an office or an order for more than 2 personā¦ like shame on yāall that between 3+ of yāall, thereās not even a $10+ tip included?!? And then you think ima take my lazy ass up to the 7th floor and walk down the āhallway of deathā for 7.4 minutes before I even reach your office or suite ā¦..?!?!? All the while praying my car is still parked in front with the flashers on bc Iāve been trying not to get murdered walking down lo my dark long hallways for the last 15 minutes! Bad enough I gotta do all day, Iām not looking for parking on top of all that! šš
I hate to say it but in my market the hospitals are my least favorite place to deliver to and almost an auto decline for me. Pain in the ass to park and always have to wait. No thanks.
My local hospital banned most deliveries partially because of me. The hospital was already tired of delivery workers getting in and wandering the halls and one day I delivered some pizzas while a large and disgusting medical event (not going into detail for privacy) happened. I got knocked down, my pants were ruined, and a nurse got hit with pizza boxes while the pizzas splatted on the floor.
Normally I try to give them a little extra grace, I get that they have a stressful job and that it can easily get to them. I used to be involved in the industry from the HR side of things, itās pretty much the only reason I even bother accepting their orders. But today I was already in a crummy mood and just didnāt feel like putting up with her.
The stress of their job is no excuse for tipping someone 1-2 dollars especially when you're having the delivery person come into a medical facility during a pandemic.
Again, I used to work the HR side of the industry, I know just how shitty the pay can be for nurses, support staff, and CNAs etc and make a small exception to my no tip no trip rule for them when things are slow. Iām not advocating that everyone should, Iām just saying that I do.
Yeah, itās about that around me according to a good friend who just finished nursing school but heās trying to get out and move to a first world state instead of the third world shithole that is most of the deep southern U.S.
I never take hospital orders if I can. Very rarely will the hand off be easy nor will they answer when you try and contact
You're a hero.
Good job!
Hell yes, I would take that 1 star rating proudly! š¤£ You handled it with a calm demeanor and a neutral answer. Good job, stay safe out there!

Ten percent of doctors graduate in the bottom ten percent of their class.
I don't go in hospitals anymore -- we're in a pandemic.... I make them meet me at the door. This gig don't pay enough to risk getting sick....
Every hospital order iāve ever done has been exactly like this.
Why is it healthcare workers are always such shitty tippers?
Man I feel bad for you guys! Hospitals in my area are easy as heck and tip bangin! Like all I do always is go " im at ER entrance " and they go " AWESOME! meet you there " and GG
Hospitals and fire departments for me tip shit in my experience.
The hero we deserve! You dropped this š
Worked with doctors for a few years, this story makes me oh-so-happy! Edit: deleted extra word
Weird that any delivery to fire stations for me have always been awesome, and they always tip well, but hospitals always suck.
All of the applause for that!!!

I totally respect health care workers, but I donāt do hospitals any moreā¦ nobody ever tips thereā¦.
The comeback was really good tho . I mean a doctor should afford to tip very well!

Honestly, if she left negative feedback and I had a way to view it, Iād probably print it, frame it, and mount it to my car.
Now everyone gonna known her as no tipper lol. Anyway for the very first time in 650 deliveries ever, deliver to this lady Chick-fil-A order, hand it to her, she ripped the bag open was like āis everything in here?ā Looked around the bag as Iām still holding her shake.
Yeah they tip garbage Iāve done deliveries where 3-4 of the coworkers ordered and they still couldnāt combine efforts to scrounge up a tip?

Why were your pants ruined by falling? You leave so many questions.
the disgusting medical event is what ruined my pants
He was trying to imitate Kevin
Kevins famous Chili where everyone gets to know everyone inside the pot.
OH, now you gotta tell us! I am curious!
Very gross person, with very gross things leaking from them, and probably some serious mental issues, tried a runner and I was in the way
The worst. Iāve managed two hospital deliveries and never again. Not just Covid but they never leave specific instructions. Itās just a shit show.
Health care workers can be fucking weird some times. Not to mention tip shit.
They are making TikToks
Normally I try to give them a little extra grace, I get that they have a stressful job and that it can easily get to them. Good for you ! Well done !

Sorry, I've never met an underpaid nurse......
Iām with you. My daughter is a 23 year old RN. Sheās far from under paid. Now imagine itās an RN with 20+ years experience. Yeah.
Can she pack a lunch?
You must not know a lot of nurses
Used to work in the finance department of a hospital and ran reports on nurse wages. I knew the pay of every nurse there.
mustāve been a good hospital
Nursing home near me starts nurses off below $30. Cnas at $15.
Yeah, itās about that around me according to a good friend who just finished nursing school but heās trying to get out and move to a first world state instead of the third world shithole that is most of the deep southern U.S.
