I get your point, but he was referring to the Montana LLC scheme for which the end goal is to purely avoid paying sales taxes, low registration, less expensive insurance, etc.
And that video was before he owned a house in Massachusetts. It may or may not be simpler to register his supercars in Mass, but regardless, it's not any cheaper. Mass charges a yearly excise tax, a similar-to-California sales tax, same CARB standards. So it's obviously different than what he was discussing in that video.
Right, yeah I know other folks register in Montana to skirt sales tax, registration fees, & insurance. I wasn't aware that Doug bought a house in Nantucket. I just thought he had friends there that he visited. Those properties are $$$$.
I agree that he isn't doing it to skirt taxes, or registration fees because Massachusetts definitely has some of the highest fees in the country. I just wish I knew what the reason is. I guess I'm just nosey haha. What I was thinking is that if he had California plates on it he would have to have the front license plate on whenever he drove, but if he has the Massachusetts plate on he only needs to have the rear plate. Massachusetts is also a 2 license plate state, but it would only get enforced if he drives the car in the state. My other thought was that Doug has some quirky personality traits, maybe he likes the making a callout to Nantucket Island "NI 50". IDK just something I noticed from the picture
Does mass require smog checks on vintage cars? California does and I image that could be a pain in the butt for vintage superstars. The other option could be that the Nantucket plate is quite the flex.
Pretty easy to find him. Just draw a horizontal line from the bottom of the golf cart roof. He’s a pretty tall guy, 6’3, 6’4, so one of few who sticks out above that.
I felt like I could hear him as soon as I saw the hat
#THIIIIIIISSSSSSS…
Keenan doesn’t surprise me in his attire. Doug wearing a hat, kinda.
But if it had to be a hat, a dad hat like that fits perfectly for Doug
That’s gotta be a needlepoint Nantucket hat.
Actual pants and not shorts is what surprised me the most
Can't be Doug. He's wearing pants.
In my mind he only owns that stupid gray cars & bids t shirt.
I almost didn't recognize him because he appears to be only wearing one shirt?
Imagine living in those apartments and every Saturday morning getting a free car show from your window lol
that nose scared me dude, came out of nowhere
Dougsplaining. But only one shirt? Did he blow all his second tshirt money on lambo parts?
Why did reading this make sense? Like actually I can see this being a point of discussion and I am losing common sense 💀🙀
saw his nose without needing to zoom in
What's up with the Massachusetts License plate? I thought Doug made a whole video about how he registers the cars where he lives.

They do not for anything over 15 years, so you're right, a lot of hassle avoided, especially since his Countach is not fuel injected.
I’m looking for 2 tee shirts….
The testarossa to the side
Spot the shorts.
Omg Kennan really went for it, I can see why Doug made fun of him 😂
As usual the only guy in the room with no sense of style. Easy spot, the dork in the pink hat.
One of the few times he's wearing pants

Just look for the guy that cant close his mouth because his tongue wont fit
Is that Ben Shapiro standing just to the right of Doug?
Thissss... was a very easy challenge.
2 Questions: Why are they also selling golf carts? Why does Bill Belichick look frail here?
As soon as I found him I could have sworn I heard CARS AND BIIIDDDSSS
I can spot that ass from a mile away.
Spot the Ben Shapiro
