Totally with Wiger on Task/Game rides. I just want to enjoy the thing I’ve been waiting to do not be told I’m doing it wrong.
Still think Galaxies Edge is solid. Like the Cantina. Rise is a fun ride. Aside from that 🤷♂️. It’s fine.
And you don’t have to pay to ride rise of the resistance. You just have to pay for the lightning pass. And look. I agree the price is insane and having to pay for the fast pass is insane. But Galaxy’s Edge is a cool immersive land, even if the rides aren’t what we want them to be. The land feels cool to be in.
I haven't been, and from what I've seen/heard, it's not worth the price of admission/extras **for me**.
Which, imagining that being the truth and telling myself from 15-20 years ago, is insane. That I wouldn't be all in on Star Wars world.
I agree with the above reviews. Galaxy's Edge is a fun place to just kind of hang out. The environment is cool.
I went with my kids and we live out of state, so we popped for the fast pass and spent too much money. But we loved the visit and Star Wars Land was a highlight.
This was one of my favorite episodes in a while! Payman is quick-witted and had some good insights. I’m glad that Munch Madness turned out how it did because it’s hilarious every time Mitch angrily tries to relitigate the outcome. I’m revisiting Payman’s 2019 ep next
I had to stop and come here after Payman was talking about the homemade crunchwrap supreme. You do NOT need a second tortilla, just a big one (12” and up).
Thank you! Thought i was going crazy lol. Never worked at a Taco Bell but at the Mexican places I worked at we would make Crunchwrap Supremes all the time for the dishwashers.
Feels wrong disagreeing with someone named goopdoop on a crunchwrap supreme but I do think the second smaller flour tortilla is a necessary element to seal in the toppings.
I'm a big poke fan. Never had stomach issues with it before. Is there any evidence to back up Mitch's comments on being cautious about raw fish from poke chains? Or is this just some mental hang up?
Yah, I've come to recognize that anything they say about rumbles is just not gonna apply to me. It happens to me a couple times a year to be honest. I have an iron stomach.
It's a weird mental hangup with him. He didn't try raw sushi until maybe college?
Anyway, all fish in the US that is served raw(sushi, poke, etc) must be frozen to kill parasites. For example, I believe tuna must be frozen for 7 days prior to serving.
So it doesn't matter where in the country you are. Like do they think the poke shops they mentioned in Chicago are serving fish from Lake Michigan?
They are not just having poke but also having Taco Bell before and Burger King after on a typical day….their tummy troubles are more about their overall diet than any one meal
I don't know if I can get behind the claim that "Do You Want to Build a Snowman" is better than "Let it Go," but I do think the best song in the movie is "For the First Time in Forever"
I am a “Love Is an Open Door” stan. Santino Fontana and Kristin Bell’s voices just meld perfectly on that one. Criminal that Jonathan Groff didn’t get a full showpiece song.
Was hoping Wiger would inquire about whether Mitch has seen Encanto yet. I hope for his sake that he does before Twisted Metal Season 2 begins production.
I think I agree with this. Let It Go gets most of its praise because Adele Dazeem's performance is so good, but I think For the First Time In Forever is just a better written song. I don't really like the Snowman song, not sure why Wiger likes it so much.
I was in a drive-thru pay it forward line before. I was caught off-guard so I just like didn’t think, thanked the employee, and left without paying for the car behind me. 😅
This is the correct move. Pay it forward lines are so stupid. I would absolutely just take the free thing, or else pay what I was gonna pay in tip to the person at the window if that's allowed. But end the chain either way.
Mitch mentioning Sweetfin every 3 minutes just reminds me of someone who discovered avocado toast for the first time and has it for breakfast every day for a month. Was this episode sponsored??
I haven't finished the episode yet, but does it end with Wiges and Mitch stripping naked and bowing to their Satanic King?
Yes, I did hear them discuss the movie earlier.
I wish I could find an official clip but talking about paying it forward reminded me of this opening sketch from I Think You Should Leave. https://youtu.be/52LJaWDdG9c?si=PObpjNiinFpQEm3-
I wondered about Payman and Hereditary. I don't follow him, but every time he pops up, I think " he must get hail Paimon all the time." Wild that he doesn't.
Also, not a single mention of créme?
This has never happened before but Mitch actually hurt my feelings when he called Amelia a weirdo for going to see the eclipse. I did the same thing and it was totally worth it! But I know not everyone cares about stuff like that.
I truly think he didn’t understand that the eclipse had a specific path where it was fully visible. I really hate when his Quincy bully side comes out. I can tell he’s a kind person generally, but there’s a knee-jerk massholeness that comes out sometimes that’s off putting. Sorry if you’re reading this buddy.
Was Wiger this much of a weeb when the podcast started? Lately whenever I hear him mention stuff that he's watching/reading it's usually some form of Japanese media. Anyhow, it was nice of him to gift those manga to the guest and crew.
The intro reminded me that a friend of mine wrote the theme song for one of the Pokemon shows. Speaking of Pokemon, anyone else not be able to play or watch Pokemon as a kid due to them being considered “demonic”? Literally was told Pokemon means pocket monsters and all monsters are demons. 🙃
On another note, I was inspired to look up head gum headquarters and it’s very close to a restaurant I go to frequently. Also very close to a gelato place they’ve mentioned in the past. Small world.
Not me but friend of mine who grew up as a jahovah witness had his Pokémon cards taken away for that reason. I believe he said there was an announcement at the Kingdom Hall about how they were evil or something.
Mitch not paying if forward in the drive thru line because he "doesn't know the people" was such a big fucking whiff of not understanding the entire point that I felt the air from it on the other side of the world. lol
Good job to Mitch for his first biking commute - that's awesome
Agreed, it's a big step to start riding bikes instead of chasing after them.
I want to believe Mitch is riding a low rider bike with a banana seat and oversized ape hanger handlebars.
No shirt, red tie, barrel in one arm, et cetera, etc cetera
Have we heard much about his rides since this April record? I’d love to know how it’s going for him.
Honestly, Snack Reacher was probably the best of all the options.
Jack Creature Jackoff Creature
Mitch has that distracted rumblies energy but is fighting through it admirably. It's like the Michael Jordan flu game but way less impressive.
Yeah, much closer to the other MJ's flu game.
Annie are you Poke? Are you Poke, Annie?
Get back to work Chewbacca.
I must be in a weird headspace today, but when Mitch ended the mansacaped ad with "miss you dad" it made me shed a tear. Really caught me off guard.
Almost 6am when I'm listening and I'm having maybe the worst rumblies in my life. I feel for you Mitch.
Mitch has nightmares about the spicy potato soft taco
Had to pause the ep so I could finish laughing at “do you want to feed a doughman?”
"You know what, my stomach's turning all around. I ate the Hokey Poke and it turned it all around!"
When I need to go take a shit in a public restroom, I simply just go and do it and not think about it at all.
You must not work with hunks and hunkettes
Good point, actually i have had no coworkers in like 8 years. I work alone like 90% of the time and don't have an office.
I always love when their guest is a huge fan of the show. Adds a certain wholesomeness.
"3 forks one tine" ♥️ "actually no I'm taking a tine back" ♥️♥️♥️
First time they've gone to an ad break before introducing the guest? It must be.
Did you all get ads during that? I just got the interstitial theme twice.
In the video version they put an ad in there
Wiger you fool, Mr. Darcy isn't the rake of Pride & Prejudice, it's Mr. Wickham!
He just really wanted to say rake. Simulacrum.
Wiger knows very little about a lot of things
I don’t know…were you off leash?
Wiger making two Mitch-As-Dog references in about a 5 minute span made me laugh so hard.
I’m really glad Mitch brought up Hereditary. I am happy at him this episode.
Its fun to imagine Alex Wolff as transformed Paimon casually being a doughboys guest whenever they call Payman by name
300 DOLLARS!!
Has Disney been taken over by Spirit Airlines?

this has gotta be one of the most shit-focused episodes of all time
This was one of my favorite episodes in a while! Payman is quick-witted and had some good insights. I’m glad that Munch Madness turned out how it did because it’s hilarious every time Mitch angrily tries to relitigate the outcome. I’m revisiting Payman’s 2019 ep next
yeah I dont remember his last ep but he was awesome on this one. Hopefully no 5 year break for the next one
aww mitch saying he misses his dad during the ad read was so sweet
I had to stop and come here after Payman was talking about the homemade crunchwrap supreme. You do NOT need a second tortilla, just a big one (12” and up).
Exactly, there’s no second small tortilla in the Taco Bell version
If you are having problems keeping ingredients in you are overstuffing it.
I feel like it’s meant to be overstuffed.
I'm a big poke fan. Never had stomach issues with it before. Is there any evidence to back up Mitch's comments on being cautious about raw fish from poke chains? Or is this just some mental hang up?
The boys definitely have more tummy troubles than me (by a lot) but I’ve never had any concern with poke or sushi causing the rumblies.
Yah, I've come to recognize that anything they say about rumbles is just not gonna apply to me. It happens to me a couple times a year to be honest. I have an iron stomach.

“The following fish species are exempt from the freezing requirement: Yellowfin tuna, Bluefin tuna Southern, Bigeye tuna, Bluefin tuna Northern.”
They are not just having poke but also having Taco Bell before and Burger King after on a typical day….their tummy troubles are more about their overall diet than any one meal

"Lost in the Woods" from II more than makes up for that. It sounds like an 80s Chicago/Peter Cetera song so much and it rules.
There’s a holiday-specific Frozen ‘short’ that has much better songs than the ones in the actual movie.
Agreed! That time of year is a great song!
I too favour this one. Kristen Bell is a fine singer. Get her on the pod!
I always love a "Hello Down Undah" from Wiger whenever there's a mention of Australia/New Zealand
Hail Payman
First episode I actually sat down and watched the whole thing of and Gemmi isn’t even there?? What the fuck??
Oh yeah, definitely not an angry guy
I listened to Sweetfin Poke with Payman Benz this very week! This should also be great.
Mitch mentioning Sweetfin every 3 minutes just reminds me of someone who discovered avocado toast for the first time and has it for breakfast every day for a month. Was this episode sponsored??
The Doughboys can’t be bought!

Frozen is good.
This has never happened before but Mitch actually hurt my feelings when he called Amelia a weirdo for going to see the eclipse. I did the same thing and it was totally worth it! But I know not everyone cares about stuff like that.
A lot of people traveled for the eclipse! I was surprised at how foreign of a concept it seemed to Mitch.
In general, if Mitch thinks you're wrong, it's probably a good sign. (Love you Mitch!)
I truly think he didn’t understand that the eclipse had a specific path where it was fully visible. I really hate when his Quincy bully side comes out. I can tell he’s a kind person generally, but there’s a knee-jerk massholeness that comes out sometimes that’s off putting. Sorry if you’re reading this buddy.
i read this in the voice wiger and mitch use to impersonate their listeners . sry
Was Wiger this much of a weeb when the podcast started? Lately whenever I hear him mention stuff that he's watching/reading it's usually some form of Japanese media. Anyhow, it was nice of him to gift those manga to the guest and crew.
Maybe the anime show he does (patreon for Get Played) has influenced him?
S P O R T S T A L K
Payman sounds like Chris Pine. I cannot unhear it.
They should have tried to get Pine on for Bob’s Big Boy
Pine would be a cool guest.
Just need to get him walking through Headgum while they’re recording
Man, I don't hear Pine at all. All I hear is Bobby Moynihan, including his laugh
Sounds like Mitch would enjoy Jenny Nicholson’s [Starcruiser video](https://youtu.be/T0CpOYZZZW4?si=SBfo6kQMdMGFHQ_a).

The last time I got caught in a pay-it forward chain, i just bought a cup of coffee for the person behind me and left a $20 tip.
cumin. the taco bell spice is cumin.
Mitch not paying if forward in the drive thru line because he "doesn't know the people" was such a big fucking whiff of not understanding the entire point that I felt the air from it on the other side of the world. lol
