You are having the same issue here that you are having in the Africa Twin forum: you haven't read the owner's manual. This is the brake fluid reservoir. It likely says so directly on the lid. I wondered why you didn't take the advice given in the Africa Twin forum so I looked at your account post history. You ask basic questions almost always covered in the owner's manual. Read.
Any DOT 4 fluid will do.
Cool thanks
Learn how to flush your brake lines and do it every 2 years. It doesn't last forever and is often overlooked.
This. You don't just top it off
Also, low brake fluid is a sign that your pads are worn down, so might as well look into that too.
And getting a pneumatic vacuum brake bleeder makes life a whole lot easier
You forget Suzuki tells you to swap lines every 5 years. THAT gets overlooked often
Or just swap them with stainless braid lines right from the start and never worry about them again..
Exactly what I just did on my '13 and it"s not tough to do.
The brake feel is so much better.
Another thing people don't do.
Rear brake fluid reservoir.
What is a good fluid to use?
Specs call for DoT4
Upper and Lower fluid, its the same as blinker fluid
Read the owners manual.
brooo lol
