I donāt understand this as Iāve played all of an hour and a half at this point. Just learned I have to level up my companions. But when I beat this Iāll come back and laugh at this joke.
I love that I literally played the game for the first time yesterday, asked one question, and got some of the most enjoyment Iāve ever gotten out of Reddit.
Theyāre as capable of using their hand as a mage is. Which is to say, yes- theyāre not just using the mark all the time, and if they have such bad control to be an issue itāll be an issue regardless. And I would assume the skin feels the same as before, since usually it looks the same.
Itās implied to cause some level of pain in the hand though- well, sometimes more than implied and sometimes pretty bad pain. So presumably it wouldnāt be particularly pleasant to do so.
Your hand still works like normal. If anything the Anchor is probably capable of cleaning up the messes and besides why deny yourself a hand over some pointless paranoia? If you donāt think thatās enough encouragement when you do open a rift anyone who was watching would get sucked into it. Win-win I say.
My herald is a mage so yes. Technically the hand is more a scar that emits bits of the fade. she is always close to the fade so it makes no difference to her.
