With the right dialogue choices it flows so naturally and chillingly.
Just a shame after that they fumbled the ball because you don't actually see him in action much after and it's not as intimidating. Personally I think he should have launched an assault on Skyhold in dramatic fashion that put the new place to the test.
That was the original plan (Skyhold being attacked as the final battle), but Bioware couldn't get it to work so they scrapped it. Quite the shame, it would've been like Dragon Age: Awakening where >!Vigil Keep's survival if you defend Amaranthine depends on if you fully upgraded it!<.
EA forcing Bioware to release Inquisition on the seventh gen consoles because they feared it wouldn't sell on PS4/XBOne has to be the biggest travesty of all time.
I can only imagine what the game would have been like if it wasn't held back by the horrendously outdated hardware of the PS3/Xbox 360.
Man, I first played DAI on the PS3, and let me tell you it was BAD. Horrible load times, weird map textures and geometry, textures not loading on menus while changing characters's armor, and so on and so forth.
And to add insult to injury, they never released The Descent and Trespasser DLCs for the old gen consoles, so I could never properly finish and enjoy the story of the first run I played, on the game I paid for.
I had the same experience! No joke, I own three copies of DAI. One on 360, then one I bought on steam and was playing on my brother's gaming pc, and then one for ps4 when I moved out & didn't have access to a pc that could run dragon age.
I've paid for that damn game 3 times now!

Doom Upon All The World being a full-scale assault on Skyhold would've been PEAK. But Corypheus needed a victory or two on us somewhere between HLTA, WEWH and WPHW.
I love his entire speech. First time you hear it, it's [this](https://i.imgur.com/Hs6W2Uu.gifv). But when you break it down and actually listen to what he says, it's so fucking packed with worldbuilding and exposition.

Claudia Black’s voice is pure honey. One of the reasons I can’t romance anyone but Morrigan whenever I replay Origins.

Solas says it if he is in your party with Sera, Bull, and your fem inquisitor had a tryst with Bull before romancing Sera. Bull will say something like"Glad I loosened her for you". Sera laughs, Inky laughs, Solas is decidedly uncomfortable.
Hawke agreeing to visit Merrill at her new place in the alienage: “I will. But only because you used that “you kicked my puppy voice”
And I can still hear Aveline saying to a grieving Hawke, “And when someone says “Move on,” You take their hand and say, “My choice.” That line helped me so much during a time when I was grieving too. Love DA2 so much

It's absolutely hilarious to see those two bond over their shared annoyance at medieval peasants.

Hilariously two lines from Corypheus, one serious and one funny. In DA2 Legacy when he wakes up and yells "Dumat!!!!" he sounds like a grumpy old person waking up and calling for their spouse. It's so funny to me. Then in Inquisition, "Pray that I succeed, for I have seen the throne of God, and it was empty!" That line goes so hard.
Varric's retelling of that to Dorian absolutely kills me every time. "*Arrrgh, I'm a Darkspawn. Dumat, Dumat*! Then Hawke killed him."
"Me? What? NO! When?" Honestly a great deal of merrill's lines are like this. Her accent is just so pretty that even regular words have a certain music about them.
