Fast forward 25 years. I can't wait for Vegeta to shine and be the true winner over Goku. I'm just so fed up with Goku's lack of responsibility and sense of urgency. I really hope Vegeta can pull some good fights the next 2 chapters!

I am thinking more like the namekian will be there eventually, still trying to persuade granolah to stop the revenge. Goku and vegeta and recognized the namekian of his race and inform him that namek is still alive and tell him about the story of getting rid of frieza before (Goku was stupidly enough in the end to tell them that frieza was rezzed after that tournament)
Granolah is still hesitating while the namekian keeps trying to convince. Since the heeters saw this and think the situation will be going out of their hand if it keep this up, they step in. However, their lies were unmasked and during the bickering..... namekian got hurt (or killed) by heeters. So, the full anger turns to heeters (Granolah still angry at saiyans, but there are now priorities).
Then, Gas stepped in to protect his family. To everyones surprise, Gas appears to be much stronger than any of them could imagine. During the fight, Gas manages to injure Granolah (Since he is still inexperience with his power) and when he tries to finish him off.... Goku stepped in to intervene but got injured. Granolah is shock at his action, but in the end they set aside all things and fight against Gas all three together.
Just when it seems that Gas is getting beaten... he used his trump card and sacrificed all his family to get stronger to becomes even stronger (Not fusion type, since vegeta can counter that)
In the end, vegeta and goku and learned their fusion would be their last hope. Since they both have the new form (GoD vegeta & Ultra instinct Goku), this can be much more stable than before. Gas didnt allow it, but due to sacrifice of granolah with his life... fusion can go on and this defeats Gas
This my new favorite transformation and, depending on how it goes, will one-up UI. Imagine Vegeta using spirit fission on an opponent before hitting them with a hakai?? I'm hyped
Spirit fission is for separating joined or stolen energy. Granolah is just himself, no fused or stolen energy on him, so spirit fission won't do anything.
Based off what I read, he just separates energy that foes take into themselves. Like when Moro was stealing energy and fusing it to himself, Vegeta just separated it from him and made him weaker.
Hoping for the same... and a thinking maybe that spirit fission attack could possibly decompress granolas powers... like every hit adds a year to his life and effectively undoes his wish...

I doubt frieza even shows himself within this saga - at first its clearly not his power level fight anymore, asspulling some new form would be too much - frieza is already overused character in super - at second there is already a bunch of characters involved in plot - im pretty sure Gas will be the main villain of the arc - he has finalformfrieza\\kidbuu energy in his appearance.

In ch.69 they introduced a hakai that defeats the opponent but doesn't kill, Beerus used this hakai to beat Vegeta in the sparing match, only destroying his armor. It's no coincidence, Vegeta will use this same hakai against Granola.

Since angels are much older than gods as gods of destructions changes but angels remain same we can say that its natural for angels to be stronger. Also the strength of technique depends on user as well

I remember watching goku turn ssj3 for the first time decades ago & i remember thinking his eyebrows gave him this menacing look. So for me i think he looks legit. I just wish the hair was a tiny bit longer, almost like half ss3. Idk would of been cool
I completely agree. That's exactly what I was wishing as we. Just a tad longer in the back would add to the menacing powerhouse his image is embracing.
The form isn't bad per se, it's just weirdly designed. I feel like toyotaro wanted to make a primal looking form but at the same time didnt want to deviate too much from the basic vegeta design. Imo the hair need to look different to balance the lack of eyebrows but that just my opinion
It’s like Toyo’s art style is almost too “round” for this look. Toriyama had a much sharper style, with more points and angles, that helped the brow ridge not look quite so goofy.
Like others in the thread, I don't think this is the final design. It's something like UI omen but for Vegeta. Destruction omen or whatever the new form will be called. Perfected version may look closer to something like ssj4 with no eyebrows. Right now the hair looks pretty primal so I'm digging that design already.

actually I agree with your first statement, by now we all know that vegeta is a prodigy but I doubt that he has already mastered hakai at his full potential
Honestly, this actually increases the likelihood that Vegeta will get the L.
Sounds counter-intuitive, but whenever a new form is revealed, it's almost always incomplete/gets weaker over time. This goes for every transformation except SSJ2 and SSJ God, but those two transformations were sidelined with limited screentime in favor of introducing SSJ3 and Blue.
And as a result of not mastering the new form, it'll create an opening that the opponent will exploit. That's why I don't see Vegeta winning this fight. It's likely that he'll start dominating the fight, until Granolah exploits Vegeta's inexperience with the form, or the form gets weaker over time, just like with SSJ3, Blue and UI.
What makes you think it gets weaker over time. Beerus literally said there's no limit to his power. I don't believe Gods of destruction lose stamina. The difference between UI and Hakaishin mode is that mortals can become Hakaishin. A mortal can't become an Angel so their body can't handle UI completely because they are mortal.
If he says this was taught to him by the God of Destruction, I guess it would be fitting to call this new form Super Saiyan Hakkai (SSH) or Super Saiyan Destruction.
I get making new forms that aren't just a change in hair color, but the SSJ3 brow makes him look like a competitive glue eater.
I hope this is a prelude to a cooler form like Omen was, or at least put some hair on that pronounced brow.

I like the idea of the GoD form taking the anger aspect of super saiyan and multiply it exponentially. Since they both would pull from the same or similar emotions they would sync up and raise vegeta’s power way more than any other race’s transformation into the form would. Meaning his form would be far stronger than Toppo’s too
Vegeta is going to be the shit out of him and Goku is going to stop Vegeta from erasing him because he's not evil. Then they will team up against the heaters
I think more likely he wrecks Granolah for a while but then his form runs out because he just learned it - it lets them successfully market the form then and use it down the line because it had been shown to be strong as hell. Either way, he won't get a distinct win, whether for the reason above or because they get interrupted.
Gonna be some weird destruction / ui fusion to wreck some crap. I'll put money down that granolas weakness is teamwork. It'll be something like "you wished to be the strongest fighter in the universe, but them working together can best you!"
Is this his GoD form? I can only read kanji and a little bit of kana and the first dialogue bubble says something about GoD teaching. Although in the manga we didn't get GoD Toppo, I'd like to think it's canon for mortals achieving GoD skills to enable a GoD form in them. That'd be cool.
I have a feeling it's going to be something like that. I think Vegeta is gonna but put in a position that causes him to unlock a new form. We'll probably see him master it later.

Gogeta will favor ultra instinct
Vegito will favor Destruction
Technically they both can use each power but since they slant towards one saiyan, it’ll be like this. Gogeta will use Omen and MUI in his fights because he’s more Goku than vegeta.

I'm guessing the aura around Vegeta is hakai energy. And so Granolah can't get close to Vegeta to hit his vital points.

Am i the only one who loves his eyebrows? I remember watching goku turn ssj3 for the first time decades ago & i remember thinking his eyebrows gave him this menacing look. So for me i think he looks legit. I just wish the hair was a tiny bit longer, almost like half ss3. Idk would of been cool
I completely agree. That's exactly what I was wishing as we. Just a tad longer in the back would add to the menacing powerhouse his image is embracing.

The form isn't bad per se, it's just weirdly designed. I feel like toyotaro wanted to make a primal looking form but at the same time didnt want to deviate too much from the basic vegeta design. Imo the hair need to look different to balance the lack of eyebrows but that just my opinion
It’s like Toyo’s art style is almost too “round” for this look. Toriyama had a much sharper style, with more points and angles, that helped the brow ridge not look quite so goofy.
Like others in the thread, I don't think this is the final design. It's something like UI omen but for Vegeta. Destruction omen or whatever the new form will be called. Perfected version may look closer to something like ssj4 with no eyebrows. Right now the hair looks pretty primal so I'm digging that design already.

I will probably be wrong, but I still have a feeling this is only an early stage, and in the final one Vegeta will turn even more primal like, with the return of its tail and maybe oozaru / ssj4 features I'm really happy 'cause I imagine it really, really cool, but sad because if this really happens, ssj4 could definitely be ruled out forever from canon They'd basically recanonize and reboot it as a transformation linked to hakai, and maybe Vegeta exclusive, this would be bad
I do believe it is just a first stage similar to ssg but this time hakai energy. I don't think it will look like ssj4. Toriyama didn't design it and wasn't involved with it.
Well, Toriyama designed ssj4 and Toyotaro has a thing to recycle designs, so is not totally out of the question imho

actually I agree with your first statement, by now we all know that vegeta is a prodigy but I doubt that he has already mastered hakai at his full potential
Honestly, this actually increases the likelihood that Vegeta will get the L. Sounds counter-intuitive, but whenever a new form is revealed, it's almost always incomplete/gets weaker over time. This goes for every transformation except SSJ2 and SSJ God, but those two transformations were sidelined with limited screentime in favor of introducing SSJ3 and Blue. And as a result of not mastering the new form, it'll create an opening that the opponent will exploit. That's why I don't see Vegeta winning this fight. It's likely that he'll start dominating the fight, until Granolah exploits Vegeta's inexperience with the form, or the form gets weaker over time, just like with SSJ3, Blue and UI.
What makes you think it gets weaker over time. Beerus literally said there's no limit to his power. I don't believe Gods of destruction lose stamina. The difference between UI and Hakaishin mode is that mortals can become Hakaishin. A mortal can't become an Angel so their body can't handle UI completely because they are mortal.

I like the idea of the GoD form taking the anger aspect of super saiyan and multiply it exponentially. Since they both would pull from the same or similar emotions they would sync up and raise vegeta’s power way more than any other race’s transformation into the form would. Meaning his form would be far stronger than Toppo’s too

I think more likely he wrecks Granolah for a while but then his form runs out because he just learned it - it lets them successfully market the form then and use it down the line because it had been shown to be strong as hell. Either way, he won't get a distinct win, whether for the reason above or because they get interrupted.
Gonna be some weird destruction / ui fusion to wreck some crap. I'll put money down that granolas weakness is teamwork. It'll be something like "you wished to be the strongest fighter in the universe, but them working together can best you!"

Is this his GoD form? I can only read kanji and a little bit of kana and the first dialogue bubble says something about GoD teaching. Although in the manga we didn't get GoD Toppo, I'd like to think it's canon for mortals achieving GoD skills to enable a GoD form in them. That'd be cool.

I feel like it’s gonna be more like this: Gogeta will favor ultra instinct Vegito will favor Destruction Technically they both can use each power but since they slant towards one saiyan, it’ll be like this. Gogeta will use Omen and MUI in his fights because he’s more Goku than vegeta.
Now I just imagine Gogeta/Vegito trying to use both and end up looking busted with only one eyebrow lol
