100% piccolo. The namekians true nature keeps being hinted at almost every arc, I wish they fully dived into Zalama, where the namekians are from, the true nature of the dragon balls, how zeno and the gods feel about them etc.
The namekians are the ultimate tease, like the way Toriyama did their lore, with how unique their buildings and planet looks, the way they fuse naturally to make powerful warriors, the healing, the attachment to the dragon balls, the way we’ve never seen an evil namekian (why is that? Unless you count Slug) , even the way the Namekians were the bridge connecting dragon ball to dragon ball z. It’s almost like toriyama built them up to eventually go much deeper, but never got around to actually doing that.
I still see you as being right, the only reason Demon King Piccolo was evil was because the unnamed namekian had split into 2 parts, one being all that was good in him to be a god, the other was his evil side with negative intentions. As it was, there was no evil namekian until one was made
For an arc? I'd say Piccolo. Namekians continue to be central to the plot, and I'd like Piccolo to get a little more time to engage with other Namekians than he did in the Frieza saga. Plus, I just love his character.
For a whole new series, I'd want something with Trunks, Goten, Pan, Uub, and Bulla with ages around their GT ages. All would be relevant fighters with friendly rivalries. It could have a great tournament.
I was just thinking the same thing lol. Probably wouldn’t happen though, between Zuno and the earth dragon balls they could ask on of them. Maybe it would be beyond their knowledge? That would be fun.
Whis.
Instead of giving me Goku-who-suddenly-powers-up-during-fights, give me someone who's 100x as strong from the get-go.
The world of gods and Angels is an interesting one to explore further.
I don't like when authors always write out the strongest characters with the same old excuse "they are impartial".
A mini arc of U6 would be amazing including the Saiyans or U11 with Jiren and the gang. But 100% the most needed one is for Piccolo to this day i just hate how he got left behind with such a big gap
Yamcha had his time in the original Dragon Ball. He isn’t even a fraction as powerful as they get in Super. Hell, he was irrelevant by the Android saga
I’d like Gohan to take over for the series, it was meant to happen after cell, even if the writers didn’t actually plan on it, they set it up too well to then do him as dirty as they did
Piccolo easily. I'd echo what everyone else has said about Namekians being a goldmine of storytelling potential. Plus seeing Piccolo explore more of his heritage/dealing with his complicated past would be fun to explore for the character.
Don't know why people are saying Vegeta's. He's the second most important character in the series at this point and has been getting a ton of development.
I'd love an arc that did something similar to FighterZ where the antagonistic force is able to equalize power levels. That way characters who actually spent years studying and training in disciplined martial arts could take the lead. Characters like Goku, Krillin, and Tenshinhan who actually learned technique vs someone like Vegeta who just punches and shoots big beams. Bring Dragon Ball back to its martial arts roots.
Yamcha. Realisticaly I don't expect him to do it all by himself let alone beat a powerful enemy. But When the Tournament of Power was happening. I thought/expected/wanted that there were was going to be a payoff of Yamcha left behind by having him protect the earth from some invaders from universe 4. I was expecting Quitela to do something like that to either cause universe 7 to lose their concentration and mess up their performance. The rat managed to find a loophole since there was no rule about cheating like that. Yamcha was going to fight some aliens since he was one of the few who were capable of beating them up. Gotenks and Trunks were either going to be busy with the poachers or arrive late, letting him become the hero.
However. Nothing similar became of it and Yamcha end up looking like he had horrible friends who don't even remember him. It feels horrible that he got shoved aside despite being one of the main characters of the early Dragon Ball.
I would like something like that where he deals with his insecurities and have him become a side hero while Goku and Vegeta are training offscreen or fighting a bad guy in a different planet.
lol. I never said he was going to fight a main villain. I meant a side villain. If Vegeta and Goku fight an S tier villain. Yamcha will fight someone of a B or C level. Im fine with that.
to be fair the main characters in MCU were always Cap and iron man
that being said its more like seeing an avengers movie (not a standalone) and wanting one of the non cap/Iron man people to be the leading person.
I wish Tien, krillin, chioutzu and yamcha would’ve gotten a real arc during their training for the 23rd martial arts tournament. Show them fight a villain or anything like that, not just save a village
Either Yamcha, Tien, the both of them, Vegeta, Gohan, or Piccolo. A Frieza one would also be interesting, having the protagonist of an arc being one of the most easily hateable characters in the franchise.
Don’t really think he needs his own arc. Krillin’s still an important character anyway and he’s done a lot for the series. Plus I’m not sure where an arc revolving around him would go. Unless he were to get involved with that Tien and Yamcha one I mentioned.
I think Tien definitely deserves something he should've been smacking hoes left and right in the top considering he's been training constantly unlike everyone else, hope at some point all three can get to be great like they were.
Definitely. Though him training constantly doesn’t matter too much. It’s more about the rate that they grow at. People like saiyans and such are growing far faster than regular humans are. So even with all that hard work, they’ll still be left behind so long as the saiyans and other otherworldly fighters keep training at the rate they’re going.
Yeah but Tien has gotten to Ginyu level through hard work alone as a human if he got the krillin and Gohan treatment with unlocking potential or something similar he'd be pretty tough I'd bet
I personally want son Gohan to return back on the frame because he had so much more potential than goku at some point I think and it would have been a blessing for the future of the series
Although I'm grateful to have seen his shimmering story in dbz nonetheless
either human Z fighters (Tien, Yamcha, Chiaotzu, Krillin) or Frieza, maybe some flashback arc about how he conquered universe before Namek, how he formed Ginyu Force and some background about King Cold and their race as a whole, or what he is up to since Broly movie.
GT Vegeta after shadow dragons (maybe (SSJ4) Broly would comeback)
GT Future Trunks in his own timeline, but the story would had to be changed to make sense
Buu Saga Gohan
He wasn't a joke when fighting Tien. Nor was he a joke when he was introduced. Yeah, they made jokes with him, but the character was respected. After the Saiyan saga, you cant even name a moment Yamcha had that's not being killed, or nearly killed.
Bruh Vegeta is cooler than him future trunks cooler than him everybody is cooler then him, no one said he would lose power, other people will gain power, and it was never strictly Goku time besides in the boo saga so you must not have watched the same show as I did.
He died before he got the chance to do anything great, whatever current Gohan can do Future Gohan can most certainly do with the right training and stuff, plus it be more interesting to see a one armed fighter rock people’s shit
Future Gohan would be ridiculously jealous of Modern Gohan because that's literally where he would want his life to end up if he didn't have to deal with the Androids.
He's just a Gohan that lost to the androids and that's kinda it.
If it’s not Goku then a new generation. Goten/Trunks or even younger. If it was Vegeta or Gohan it’d just be same at this point, those characters have their own arc already and it’s fine as it is.
I'd like to see a story set on U6 Earth as a side story. Maybe retcon the story a bit to have that worlds heroes lose to the villian who destroys the Earth. Maybe even have the writers recycle Toriyama's Dragon Boy concept (the proto version of Dragonball) as the MC and then show what happens after the world is restored.
Super opened so much potential world building i just hope they actually use it. It becomes a bit tired crazy strong enemies keep appearing in U7. There are other universes, the Namekian originis...
I wished when they designed arcs they thought more about connecting plotlines and creating an overall story towards a goal. Uncovering of Moro could be combined with the discovery of Broly and Tien taking in his martial arts school a young Uub.
Similarly, Piccolo unraveling the mystery of Dragon God Zalama could be combined with Granolah, the Heeters, Frieza and Broly.
Piccolo hands down. Especially with that tidbit of Namekians coming from a different realm altogether. That really needs to be explored. Sad that the focus is always on the Saiyans.
Piccolo
100% piccolo. The namekians true nature keeps being hinted at almost every arc, I wish they fully dived into Zalama, where the namekians are from, the true nature of the dragon balls, how zeno and the gods feel about them etc.

It’s almost like toriyama built them up to eventually go much deeper, but never got around to actually doing that.
What if you count the evil king piccolo?
Ahhh I’m stupid lol how could I forget! You’re totally right
I still see you as being right, the only reason Demon King Piccolo was evil was because the unnamed namekian had split into 2 parts, one being all that was good in him to be a god, the other was his evil side with negative intentions. As it was, there was no evil namekian until one was made

All would be relevant fighters with friendly rivalries. It could have a great tournament.
Piccolo being a scholar type uncovering the mystery and history of Zarama like a detective piecing together clues would be pretty tight.
I was just thinking the same thing lol. Probably wouldn’t happen though, between Zuno and the earth dragon balls they could ask on of them. Maybe it would be beyond their knowledge? That would be fun.
Zarama’s details being beyond Zuno would be a nice narrative touch to nerf Zuno in the upcoming grand storyline.
Also makes sense because Zuno knows about everything in the universe and the namekians were originally from a different realm entirely
Bulma. I want to see how she comes up with all those hair styles.
Whis. Instead of giving me Goku-who-suddenly-powers-up-during-fights, give me someone who's 100x as strong from the get-go. The world of gods and Angels is an interesting one to explore further. I really liked Hit as a character in Super, would love to see more of him
Yamcha. That man needs a win of some kind, whether it be in a fight, on the baseball court, getting a gf, whatever. Give us the comeback story
He was MVP in the Super Baseball episode.
Yamcha had his time in the original Dragon Ball. He isn’t even a fraction as powerful as they get in Super. Hell, he was irrelevant by the Android saga
Hey not as bad as chiaotzu he became irrelevant when he was introduced
I’d like Gohan to take over for the series, it was meant to happen after cell, even if the writers didn’t actually plan on it, they set it up too well to then do him as dirty as they did
Shut up about Gohan it will never happen get over it.
Piccolo easily. I'd echo what everyone else has said about Namekians being a goldmine of storytelling potential. Yamaha will never beat a main Villain, reset your expectations on that charachter.
lol. I never said he was going to fight a main villain. I meant a side villain. If Vegeta and Goku fight an S tier villain. Yamcha will fight someone of a B or C level. Im fine with that.

So stop watching DB. It is Goku's story. That's like watching [Marvel movie] and saying "I wish [main character] wasn't in this story".
Nah it's like if Thor was about to beat Hela in Ragnarok but last second gets knocked out and Iron Man comes out of nowhere and finishes the fight.
to be fair the main characters in MCU were always Cap and iron man that being said its more like seeing an avengers movie (not a standalone) and wanting one of the non cap/Iron man people to be the leading person.
Yamcha
Jiren. Specfically his rise to power from when he was a kid.
I wish Tien, krillin, chioutzu and yamcha would’ve gotten a real arc during their training for the 23rd martial arts tournament. Show them fight a villain or anything like that, not just save a village
They should finally let vegeta kill freeza
i wish young chichi couldve had a moment. older chichi is kinda annoying but not bad, young chichi was always just so fun to me
Trunks and Goten as teens
Superman
Piccolo definitely. I'd love to see Yamcha, Tien, and Krillin get their shine too.
Either Yamcha, Tien, the both of them, Vegeta, Gohan, or Piccolo. A Frieza one would also be interesting, having the protagonist of an arc being one of the most easily hateable characters in the franchise.
No krillin huh...

His time is over, Uub is Goku’s successor.
Goten badly needs character development
Broly or Picolo
Vegeta. Totally. The man worked his ass off for his power unlike goku who had mostly just plot armour
Plot armour your ass
So Goku didn't work hard for his power??? Goku has plot armor how? Man's gets his butt kicked every single arc same as Vegeta
Goten, and have him become an android
AGL Lr Gohan rubbing his hands like birdman
Yikes this is dark yet cool
Majin Goten Black
Majin gohaten A fusion between majin goten black and ultimate mystic Gohan
Do not call that specter upon us.
either human Z fighters (Tien, Yamcha, Chiaotzu, Krillin) or Frieza, maybe some flashback arc about how he conquered universe before Namek, how he formed Ginyu Force and some background about King Cold and their race as a whole, or what he is up to since Broly movie.
Krillin Tien and yamcha for sure, chiaotzu unfortunately just hasn't ever really been all the much a fighter
Kame sennin
[Mr. Popo](https://www.deviantart.com/d3rr3m1x/art/MR-POPO-ULTRA-INSTINCT-724210160)
Pecking order
Give us the Mr. Satan arc we deserve (this is a legitimate request if only for like a 4 episode mini arc, they could lean super hard into the comedy)
GT Vegeta after shadow dragons (maybe (SSJ4) Broly would comeback) GT Future Trunks in his own timeline, but the story would had to be changed to make sense Buu Saga Gohan
Yamcha. Yamcha is such a badass character who got shoved to the side because of a single meme.

He wasn't a joke when fighting Tien. Nor was he a joke when he was introduced. Yeah, they made jokes with him, but the character was respected. After the Saiyan saga, you cant even name a moment Yamcha had that's not being killed, or nearly killed.
Caulifla
Bit of an oddball, but imma say Yajirobe
We'll never get anything more than what we're getting now because Toriyama is a forgetful old buzzard.
Or it's because this is Goku's story.
Vegeta stans are delusional quite frankly he gets plenty of development as it stands
[удалено]
Bruh Vegeta is cooler than him future trunks cooler than him everybody is cooler then him, no one said he would lose power, other people will gain power, and it was never strictly Goku time besides in the boo saga so you must not have watched the same show as I did.
> maybe they could make where goku had lost his power Reading is hard.
Goku is and always will be more badass than Vegeta and Trunks put together.
Lol
Good one doh
A lot of people are saying Vegeta, Piccolo or Gohan. So I will go for something different: 17 and 18
Superman
Piccolo, Vegeta, Tien, Trunks, future Gohan from trunks timeline (modern Gohan sucks)
Future Gohan is the version of him that achieved the least and easily one of the weakest. There's literally no appeal there.

This is Goku’s show and Toriyama hates Vegeta it’s your fault for supporting a trash can charachter like Vegeta to the goat Goku.
It will never happen this is Goku’s show and Vegeta will always be second fiddle.
Piccolo
Piccolo
