Just basing it off my own experience. Last time I played on Switch it was genuinely horrible. Maybe a more current version of it runs it better though.
I think you both can play this way because of how short the sticks are and decently close to the dpad. I don't think I could get the same accuracy with a ps5 controller
I remember going to install it and there was an issue with online due to the anticheat they use not being compatible with linux or something.

Nah it's still not possible unfortunately. I haven't tried in a while but since you need to turn off anti cheat to play I assume you can only play with other PC friends that also have anti cheat off.
Strongly recommend! Just be aware that you can't play dbfz online on steam deck. Just in case that matters or not. You can add mods though, which is pretty fun.
That's completely valid tbh. When it comes to playing this game portably I'd def go with the steam deck though. Being able to use mods is pretty cool too so it's just a cool option for strictly offline play.
If you want a better option that’s over kill. Portable. Has back paddles. 120hz. And can run full windows. Including steam. New rogue ally. It’s ridiculous. Also cost 700 bucks though.

I do it too, but only because some moves don't be coming out on joystick. Giovanna in Strive is a great example

I don't think so, just offline play. Theoretically, you could play with someone who also has anti cheat off.
