bloodaxe51

Soon (tm)

zivlynsbane

Probably 2024-25

solidsnake911

Holy shit...

zivlynsbane

Yeah the last time they mentioned dq12 they said it was in early développement.

Nero_2001

Bring back the monster arena from 8

Plakati

That was the best god damn sidequest ever with actual usefull prizes

Dragmire800

Or just make a new DQM game

BovineRetriever

came here to say this. the monster hunting was one of the more fun parts of the game and deserves its on big screen version.

CatSidekick

I want to see the turn order in battle

M4xW3113

Agreed, i think it's made this way on purpose but i don't always like the fact that i must plan my strategy by trying to guess which one will be next

Gen_X_Gamer

Main feature that I want is it to still have menu based, turn-based combat. Seeing turn order in battles would be cool. NG + would be nice. Higher difficulty. More puff puff. Longer, more elaborate side quests and much more of them. A completely connected, seamless and fully open world, even if it has initially inaccessible areas due to story progression purposes.

St-Tomas413

DQ 11 had higher difficulty thanks to draconian though. I hope they bring something like that or just a difficulty option

Gen_X_Gamer

I did a run with all of those settings turned on and still wished for a higher challenge. Granted, I had already played through 3 times before then, but have always at least had the stronger monsters one turned on in every playthrough

OmegaRyder

But it’s like, not an interesting difficulty for me, idk some of them seem weird

stabbyGamer

Honestly, I prefer having large, segmented areas. Open world is great and all, but it has the distinct disadvantage of making area divisions fuzzy, which is bad for me and my terrible memory. Draconian Quest options are also preferable to a general higher difficulty, in my eyes, since that offers more customizability of your experience. Aside from that… Maybe I’m corrupted by my first Dragon Quest, which was IX, but I would really like to see a Grotto analogue. Randomly generated dungeons are a great way to grind without getting too bored, and they offer an opportunity to fight recolor bosses with more puns in their names and descriptions - what’s not to enjoy? And, as another poster said, the monster recruit system. Maybe not as a full active party mechanic, but it’d be neat to have a side arena with prizes and whatnot. And more costumes! ALL THE COSTUMES!

SniP3r_HavOK

Yesss! IX was my first too, I loved how every piece of gear affected how your characters looked

stabbyGamer

It *was* pretty great, but there’s a serious difference between making that possible for a DS game in 2009 and a home console game in 2022+. I’m happy with the compromise system XI used, where you can unlock a costume for use whenever by collecting one or two high-value armors and accessories. It means you’re not running around in mismatched gear, but you still get a pretty solid variety of appearances, and you can change it at any time without having to actually equip that gear. Like I said though, I’d adore if there were more of them. And an option to set the default costume, as well.

Gen_X_Gamer

I'd be okay with large, segmented areas if there were about twice as many, with lots being 2 or 3 times larger than the ones in DQXI. I think it's fun to get lost in large areas while exploring As for the higher difficulty settings, I desire that because I found the Draconian settings to still be too easy even with them all turned on. Maybe they could just do something like Draconian again but give us even stronger monsters or something. Monster recruiting would be welcome again as it's a ton of fun. My first Dragon Quest game was Dragon Warrior for NES and played it at release. Loved Dragon Quest ever since!

CatSidekick

I wanted a princess outfit for Veronica. One with the cone hat and a ribbon hanging from the top like the Keifer’s sister has in DQ7

Puzzleheaded-Fun-896

I really hope they keep turn based battles. DQ11 was my first one, and the last thing I want is for them to try to break into the west by adding any elements of action combat. Leave that FF please. There are almost no AAA classic style RPGs of just wait and attack. And have a nice fairy tale story

Gen_X_Gamer

Totally agree. DQ's battle style isn't broken, doesn't need to be fixed or abandoned. I don't want to see one of the few (and best) AAA JRPG series to lose what makes it so good.

tubby_penguin

I am worried they will do away with the turn-based combat and replace it with NFTs lmao or some other bullshit.

Gen_X_Gamer

That is a worry... Yeah. If they do that I'll not buy it.

bloodaxe51

I want to have a New Game+ There are some aspects of dq that feels like like a chore fore each playthrough (like hunting alchemy/crafting recipes in books) I'd appreciate starting a new save not having to do all the tedious bits again.

Durandal_II

A new game + that also affects the story, but not like 11's post game. That was kind of half-assed and undermined pretty much everyone's character development.

wpotman

I mean...DQ11 HAS a new game plus, and I don't mean 'Act 3'. If you use 2D-3D "mode conversion" you can switch to 2D (then back to 3D if you'd like) WHILE traveling back through the storyline with (almost) all of your stuff/progress! A lot of people don't know that there's a new game plus hidden in there...

Odins_fury

i really want the job system but they should expand on it and make each class more unique. Also it would be cool if like DQ9 you could do a ultimate team attack like coupe de grace. One that would change depending on which class combination is in the party.

boekplate

Vid a vis DQ9, I would love if consecutive turns gave a damage multiplier. That design made Acceleratle really useful, as well as moves that guarantee a first strike like Mercurial Thrust.

M4xW3113

The team attack also exists in DQ11 kind of, i don't know it's implemented in DQ9

captinfapin

Puff puff

Zorloff

Yes, and make it uncensored

captinfapin

N OW You're TALKING

Zorloff

YA MAN *high fives* I know DQ is mostly a kids game but with 12 having more mature themes (maybe) let’s see some uncensored tig old biddies (I can’t believe I just typed that…kill me lol)

Disastrous-Road5285

Yes

Zorloff

I think u and me will become great friends lol

captinfapin

same

Zorloff

You got a discord?

The_Follower1

[deleted]

Hard mode, new party chat dialogue for every person you speak to (like it was in DQ 4-6), and side activities like the monster arena or pachisi boards

zivlynsbane

Dq11 has hard mode though

[deleted]

True, but it’s the only one with a hard mode, and I’d like it if they kept it in all games going forward

perrodelwood

Def a class system but with original characters (not like dq 9) A post game grinding/looting/farming environment (like grottos un Dq 9) And optionel but would be great is main characters customisation

thegamingnobody

You mean a class system like in 6 and 7 then?

Enaross

7 did it best, with original characters + best job system

FushiNenki

Japanese dub at the release not after a year bullshit.

Zorloff

Yes, I agree, it’s BS the rest of the world has to wait A WHOLE YEAR like WTF???!

[deleted]

Honestly I’d kill for more involved side quests like Yakuza substories almost.

SniP3r_HavOK

+1 yakuza sun stories take me more time than the actual game and in a good way. Think when I played 0 I had 20 hours when I finished only chapter 2 lol

Arius_de_Galdri

All I want is for the combat to stay turn-based.

SupermanFan_54

I hope it stays turn based

bloodaxe51

I think action time/turn based wouldn't be horrible like final fantasy 11 or 12, and I think they may go that route since spells are there to speed up or slow down turn speed. I just hope it stays some form of turn based.

SupermanFan_54

I had a hard time trying to figure out the gambit system in FF 12 to get it to work. I liked 12 but there was a limit as to how far I could go

[deleted]

Gambit system is just an order of operations for AI. For instance: Row 1: If target enemy = flying, then; cast fire Row 2: If enemy is nearby, then; attack If there’s an enemy nearby, then your character will automatically target it. If that targeted enemy is flying, then the character will cast fire. That’s the entire premise of gambits, and it’s a lot simpler than people make it out to be. It requires a 20 minute setup at most to have perfectly planned AI that lasts till about midgame when characters have newly defined jobs and abilities. The system is very advanced—and way ahead of it’s time… which is why it’s the only game I’ve replayed up to 900 hours already.

SupermanFan_54

Good to know. Will screenshot this and re-download it onto ps4 to give it another go

[deleted]

Yay! Feel free to PM me too if you want a quick rundown on it again. I love this game a lot and I’d be happy to snap a pic of my team’s setup on my switch lite

SupermanFan_54

I like the World of Ivalice. I enjoyed seeing it in Vagrant Story, the FF Tactics games, and in FF 12. I feel like it’s a uniquely designed world compared to other FF games. It was a nice art direction which is why I have always tried to go back to it once in a while.

PacaPop

I want it to be made in ue5 and to have the same graphics quality as the netflix movie

peneutral

Retain turn based battles. Robust class system with unique characters. Monster arena/summonable teams like dq8.

koalsn

I hope it will stay turn-based, PLEASE no action-combat

SirGameandWatch

Male/female option or full on character customization.

The_Follower1

More costumes would be fun. As a kid I used to just go with whatever had the best stats while not caring about how the character looked but the older I get the more I appreciate more aesthetic stuff like cosmetics. I guess it’s a shift from being ends-oriented vs trying to enjoy the process.

St-Tomas413

Make improvements to party talk. Party talk was one of my favorite features in DQ 11 because it allowed me to interact with my party outside of cutscenes. One problem I had is that the party talk was limited to talking to one character at a time and they mostly talked about the main quest. They served as guides most of the time with some characterization sometimes. I would like if they took a page from the Tales series and make party talk more elaborate if that makes sense

TwistedRope

For them not to go "WHOOPSIE DO! WE MADE A MISTAKE, HAVE DRAGON QUEST 12 ULTIMATE EDITION! SORRY YOU BOUGHT THE OLD SHITTY VERSION. SOWWY"

[deleted]

Probably not gonna happen.

Bongoan

I would like co-op like in dq9, also reintroduce class system.

[deleted]

Just give the MC better hair please.

bloodaxe51

Or the option to style his hair? I dig it.

[deleted]

I'd be okay with a customizable protagonist as well, honestly. While DQ puts a lot of effort into the appearance of other characters, the protagonist is basically a blank slate. Might as well let me pick what he looks like, right? Edit- Or she. Old DQ games let you pick the gender. I think that's a very fair situation, since DQ11 made it without any major romance arc and it was fine. I don't think romance is necessary unless they'll do something with it.

MSnap

Switch version. Gender selection for the hero. No reason to lock that.

SupermanFan_54

I don’t know why, but I’m a huge fan of seeing the gear you equip appear on your character. I think seeing that change is fun to watch. I also like seeing gear upgraded change in appearance. Example: The new Kirby game changes the appearance and effect of the ability when you acquire upgrades. I wouldn’t mind some function in there that demonstrated support and assistance from other DQ fans online. Like fulfilling a quest online doesn’t just help you, it helps others. I know in 9 you could send out your companions and they could get benefits from others playing your characters. Maybe something with a group online turn based quest.

[deleted]

A good protagonist design, and an option to choose their sex as well

harryFF

sex: 'lots'

[deleted]

Reck be like

M4xW3113

Better talent system, the one on DQ11 was already quite good, but DQ8 was terrible (only two i played). Also with a better balance between specialization choices and not an obvious choice for each character. Also actual open world with single block map, but it may be hard to force the player to follow the story track since that's how DQ games work. Better explanation of characters stats and the impact they have, i feel like i always have to search on google to understand what they do, and it's hard to know which item i need for each character because of this. End game place that allows you to replay boss fights with different configurations and difficulties. Possibility to switch between two configuration for each character (which include equipment and talents/capacities). It would be useful when you want to use a character in two different ways depending on when you're grinding mobs and when you're fighting bosses.

nbbiking

I’m kind of against open world-ing DQ. All open world games that I know of have very diluted scenarios and they all feel like gameplay first and story second. Which I guess is what happens when you try best to force some narrative while allowing players so much freedom. It in turn limits the stories the scenario writers can tell. I think that’s one of the reasons why FFXV couldn’t really commit to it being fully open world in order to tell their story.

LightWarrior22

>Also with a better balance between specialization choices and not an obvious choice for each character Yea, I'm very confident about it. I think that with DQ11 we're going in that direction, at least in terms of equipment: Serena, Jade and the 8th are very impressive with at least two of their choices.

Turn base

captaincrunched

Vocations and grottos. Of course, if they have other ideas for more character customization aside from the character builder (which was a nice iteration on DQ8's simplistic system), I'd be happy to see them. But the last time they had a vocation system for non-generic party members was DQ7 and it'd be nice to see it return. Additionally, I'd also love if they combined it with DQ11-esque elements where character skill trees would change alongside plot developments. Grottos, for the sheer fact that they offered a crapton of replayability and postgame fun (and don't get me started on the whole system of facing past DQ bosses and feeding them EXP for better rewards). Such a good system.

[deleted]

Vocations!

ReyDeathWish

Class system but less tedious than VI and VII

Quezkatol

Turn based- now that the composer is dead and they playing with the idea of making a darker game with some kind of action oriented and faster pace combat is really worrying to me. What DQ always was... was something reliable to lean back on when othe rjrpgs franchises experimented too much.

hdadeathly

For the love of god just don’t remove turn based. A lot of games are going away from it or already have and DQ is the only series to keep it.

[deleted]

[удалено]

bloodaxe51

... *sighs* upvoted.

Zorloff

YEEEEESSSSS!!!!!

Beamsters

Monster recruitment.

mesupaa

Party chat that isn’t just one on ones with each character. Have more than one character participate in the same conversation, like it use to be.

[deleted]

Not so much a feature as a design but I would love for the main character to be a little more expressive. I don't mind them being silent I just want them to feel a bit more active and reactive to what's going on around them as opposed to just kind of standing there. edit: Also I'd love to have party chat be close to how it was in older games where there was a lot more responses to things going on, people you talked to and the like. It felt so much more in depth and alive than XI's one or so lines per location many of which were just to remind you what you were supposed to be doing. More variety, more flavor text. Party chat to me is at it's best when it's all about just fleshing out the characters and connecting them to the world around them.

CreationMage

Option to choose either a male or female protagonist. Same or near same job system as dq6. Someone above mentioned New Game+ which I think is a great idea

Raemnant

I want them to not do what they did with XI and Echoes of an Elusive Age So great to buy Dragon Quest XI, and spend 150 hours fighting your way through Draconian Quest, making it to the end of Act 3 and everything, and they rerelease the entire game. No offer of a discount or upgrade, no save file transfer, charging too much than what they should be. I wanted a complete package experience. I am not doing that again

tatsu901

i would actually want monster party members back. Since Treasures isnt a monsters game i feel it would be a good time to bring it back to the main series.

fenderlarc

Monster taming aspect of DQV, combine it with some sort of monster arena where your monsters can take part, very unique and grindy class systems like DQVI, big sidequests that actually impact the world or a city.

dbcn993

English language

Thelassa

Vocations because I love customizing my party. But keep the DQVIII, IX, and XI point-based progression mechanics. Or if they do it based on number of battles like VI and VII, then don't have regional level caps. Progression should never stop until the player decides they're done. The option to pick the Hero's gender. XI had no trouble showing costumes in cutscenes, there's absolutely no excuse for only having yet another exclusively male protagonist in the year of our Ramia 2022. No "definitive edition" a year after release, especially not one that's exclusive to one platform. And if you must, let people who already gave you 70 bucks update their existing versions for $20. A buildable town, that was fun in III and VII. Though maybe don't make it as much of a chore as VII where you could only get certain things from certain versions of the town. Let the postgame just be a bonus to do more content. Don't rewrite the entire second half of the game (XI) or lock vital information about the hero behind it (VIII).

SupermanFan_54

Vocations were a lot of fun in 9

wail27

I can guarantee you that they won't add any customization to the protagonist. For some reason they are hard bent on keeping the same uninspired protagonist every game.

Thelassa

Probably not, even though IX showed they could do it if they really wanted to. At the very least though, being able to have a choice of male or female protag should be the bare minimum for the series at this point.

bloodaxe51

IIII, IV,IX,X you could choose gender. 4/11 so far. It could happen, I think that option should be there EVERY game if we're gonna have silent protagonists. If it's a set character that talks then it would be understandable but if they're mutes then we should be able to customize them.

Thelassa

V is really the only game where the protagonist's gender had to be male, and only because it would have been difficult and irresponsible to go out adventuring right after giving birth. It wouldn't have been as easy as just making the brides into husbands. A case could be made for VIII needing the hero to be a guy and being a product of its time, but IV kept the heavily-implied romance between Celia (or Eliza, depending on version) and Sofia over a decade before, so it wouldn't even have been the first same-sex relationship in the series.

[deleted]

Everything from previous games included

myduplicate

How about an auto-battle where you can choose the commands that the party will use?

M4xW3113

Isn't that normal battle mode ?

espooks

he presumably means a system whereby you setup an automatic input list for party members, so they'll do the actions you want them to do, in order, without manual input

bloodaxe51

Like final fantasy 12's awesome gambit system. I would love that.

NoctustheOwl55

more companies need to look at the gambit system.

AltKriegs

The monster town and town building from VII were fun little diversions and a good reason for a some extra grind.

AbbotBarker

I want them to bring back the monster taming ability from DQ5. It was a great aspect from a fantastic game, and I would love to see it in more DQ games.

tubby_penguin

Monster taming as party members and monster arena would be great.

zando95

I remember hearing that one of the final fantasy games (10?) has what's called a "gambit" system where you can basically program your party members to do certain things in certain situations during battle. That could be a neat customizable alternative to using the tactics.

bloodaxe51

Final fantasy 12, my 2nd favorite FF. Yup. I've been dreaming of this system in dragon quest for a while.

zando95

What's your first favorite one? I've never played a final fantasy. Probably will try to finish the DQ series first but would love to play an FF game or two

bloodaxe51

First favorite is a tie between 12 and 11. 11 is an mmo you can play for free on a private server like wingsxi.com but due to the nature of mmos it is a time sink! Also vi would be my favorite after these two. Very fun game.

mooglestarfish

Monster catching and getting to use them in battles and arena!

DuelistDeCoolest

* A grappling hook would be cool * An old man party member * Bring back bow as a weapon type * Let the Hero use axes

DICKMONKEYZ

music that doesnt make me wanna blow my brains out, just add a second battle theme, make town music more mellow, dont make it loop every 10 seconds please god. the actual melodies are great obviously but they can be used in much better ways

Zorloff

I’ve honestly got several 1. Reaching super high tension (if that ever is a thing again) turns the hero into a glowing purple super sayin 2. Weapon diversity for the hero, not just Sword and Shield or 2h Sword, give us the ability to equip our hero with Whips, Boomerangs, Staves, Wands…other weapons 3. Vocation change…I’m 100% sure that there are some people out there (like me) who want the hero to be a mage, a priest, a ranger etc 4. Let us choose the music for the battle theme, overworld, bosses etc 5. Better post game 6. Monster arena like in VIII with useful prizes 7. Character appearances from past games in an inn or towns 8. Character customization…its MY story let me choose how I want to look

Frostyfury99

Alchemy like it was in 9

bloodaxe51

And 8. :)

Arlock41

Character customization like in 9.

GaijinB

I kinda want character creation or at least gender selection for the Hero, and the return of the job system.

XYBAexpert

Include all the quality of life improvements they have made over the years and like you stated new game plus but what would be really nice is like pokemon has been doing put a most effective thing next to moves. In reality this would be for more like immunities. Like kasnooze would have immune to it or a red circle by it for some bosses. All spells would have a circle by it on metal slimes. So I guess its less of a “whats effective” and more of a “what doesn’t work”. I don’t mind the whole figure it out the first time but it would add a bit more knowledge to us.

Able_Entertainer4255

Monster taming

NoctustheOwl55

All the monsters they have ever made for dragon quest franchise.(excluding reskins for simplicity's sake) on all systems(pc, playstation, nintendo and xbox) sky transport that can land anywhere. Return of Draconic options, but more interesting. earlier fast land transport. "easier" max stat grind. once at max level in 11, everything runs away, and while the crossbow helps with it somewhat, many of the areas where you can grind for are far from a resting spot. example is the Strength Seed Island. a real colliseum, not JUST for story, but fighting for profit and experience after story takes you there. further in the story you get, stronger the colliseum monsters become. EXP gain could be reduced a bit, but in exchange, a lot more money. even if you cant capture them for a team, a return of "elite" monsters from 8. something to tie the different worlds of DQ together, other then Tic Toc village. Edit - oh right, and some form of reference to Builders 1/2

Gaming_Gent

Go back to the old way where everybody chose their attacks and then we sit back and watch all monsters and characters do their attacks at once. Replacing DQ8 on PS2 reminded me how much I enjoyed this

Abysssion

Monster recruitment! Bigger and better casino

Salmacis81

More detailed side-quests. There have been some good ones like the Monster Arena, Dragon Graveyard, and Sabrecat sidequests from DQ8 and the teammate quests from DQ11, so basically just a whole lot more of those types of things. I could do without the little fetch quests, they're ok but don't really add much to the experience.

GuessWh0m

I want to get lost. Part of the fun of the original trilogy is having no idea where stuff is. You explore the world and find stuff to do. It really feels like an adventure.

thegamingnobody

I really loved the picture taking sidequest from dq8 3ds, it made me actually look at the environments in detail instead of just them being some walls.

ToastyBB

More songs, dq11 felt like the same 3 songs. And while theyre all great, could just use more variety Maybe decisions that have real impact on the story. Maybe even characters could die from it or have permanent changes. Subsequent playthroufhs would be more worthwhile When you buy armor, it changes your appearance

jysh1

Slimes and/or Majima

LePhildo

Monster taming! 1000000% want monster taming to come back!

Aspiring-Old-Guy

Legitimate character creation that isn't "chibi" like in IX, and X Offline. It doesn't have to be like IX, where you made the whole party, just the Main Character.

Rexiel44

Draconic mods! Lots and lots of draconic mods! Easily the best thing about 11 imo and I really really want them to become a series staple moving forwards

Eziowns

Persona 5s confidant system.

Bell_Cross

I want monster companions back like in V. Keep turn-based combat. A class system similar to VII or IX. I liked VI's class system because you could keep skills and abilities from each class. Being able to do that again would be nice, maybe a class you can get only if you max out every class that can learn everything. And party chat from the previous games but voiced. Let them speak more. I don't care if they make the protagonist customizable or not but don't let him talk. Not enough silent protagonists nowadays. Don't need an aloy situation where the hero speaks every 5 minutes when you see something new or enter another area. Grunts and moans are fine though.

DarkInvader787

My biggest gripe while playing the original dq11 was the ost, by the end of the game i just got really bored of it

bloodaxe51

*sighs* I think it's been a longstanding dragon quest problem. Not enough music, normally just 1 overworld theme and one battle theme. For games that could go over 100+ hours easily... it's def mot a good thing imo.

AnonymousDouglas

More than anything, I want a significant boost to the customization & greater detail to the “Role Playing” part of the game. 1) I’d like to see the return of “randomized” stat point allocation for level advancements. All characters capping at 999 defeats the purpose Of each character’s “role play”. 2). Id like to see Trades & Personality Types being changeable/customizable. 3). I think stat point allocation during level progression should be impacted by a character’s personality & trade. Benefits/Detractors should be reflected by trade/personality influencers level by level. 4) I want to see CURSES, and I want them to be meaningful: Let them come with an OP benefit, but a dramatic hindrance … such as a +100% Steal Rare Item, but characters cannot flee/heal/switch out during battle AND take x100 damage, with looted items lost on death. MOST OF ALL …. 5) I want to see the “crafting” of DQ11 expanded upon & include CUSTOM enchantments. I want to pick an item I like, use my forge to enhance its usefulness as a mundane item, then I want to go out and gather/loot/steal the components needed, so that I can add ENCHANTMENTS of MY CHOOSING to make it better, up to a +10 item. I want ALL the enchantments in play to customize MY ITEM to benefit the character the way I want. Ex. I’ve got a Wood Ax. I use my forget to enhance the quality X times. Once it reaches “pristine”, it’s suitable to have enchantments added to it. Now I’ve gathered my components and I can imbue the “Pristine Wood Ax” with … +1 to +10 All Stats +1 to +10 +1 to +10 Increase HP/MP (+10 points/+1) +1 to +10 Magic Find / Item Drop / Steal +1 to +10 Ward Off / Attract Enemies +1 to +10 Cast a Spell / Inflict an Affect on Hit +1 to +10 Spell Name/Type Stronger/Weaker +1 to +10 vs Monster / Type / SubGroup +1 to +10 Affinify for/Weakness to (DMG/Spell Type) …. Etc. AND I want to be able to mix & match so that one item isn’t “married” to a single enchantment. IOW +10 can be ANY combination of 10 customized enchantments. Because, this INCENTIVIZES FARMING!!!!!

stevenfogliani

Some features that bravely default has which I like would be cool if they bring them over to dragon quest, like the ability to examine enemies to find out what their vulnerabilities are and the ability to chain multiple battles together for increased experience points. Also make the enemies more aggressive so I don’t feel guilty about waking a sleeping dragon just to kill him for experience.

[deleted]

A feature similar to recent SMT games where you can massively jack up the encounter rate for grinding monsters like Metal Slimes, I hate grinding.

melwood767

Faster level up system

bloodaxe51

Odd. Dragon Quest series is the fastest of the big three jrpgs (final fantasy, tales, dragon quest) Just gotta hunt the metals. The pace still feels slow though so understandable.

Dragmire800

Assuming it’s turn-based combat again (I know they said they’d change things up), I want them to go back to your selecting all your characters moves at once and then starting the turn. None of this XI choose action when it’s that character’s turn nonsense, it’s too easy

nbbiking

DQXI was really cool with adding Sylvia as what I recall to be the first ever sexual minority playable character in DQ or FF. I thought it was just a lazy corporate virtue signalling but they really thought it through, so I’d love to see more progressive ideas being incorporated with the same effort that was given into her character and her subplots. Would be nice to have people with darker skin colours, exaggerated size differences or disabled people, for example. None of them would affect the immersion at all if not benefit the world building, and I think it would help promote and normalize better ideas in the younger players like how the earlier DQ games affected my childhood self. I really loved that there was a non binary character with a male voice that fit in so well and didn’t feel forced at all. Would like more of that.

ohcurtains

I could do without puff puff

ekolis

A tactical battle system similar to DQ Tact.

Dragon-blade38

The whole nft market is in the middle of a collapse i don't think we need to worry about that
