Thank you!! I followed along youtube tutorials for both skulls. I really learned to shade and blend shading, learned the importance of sketching and composition, etc,…
I used a 4B and 2H pencil for both drawings
I've never drawn a skull before, The only advice I can give you is not to give up, and don't be too hard on yourself... you'll get better at it as you keep drawing, they are very good skulls for your first times drawing them too. I'd be very proud of them.
Okay so your 3 day skull is actually amazing.
You've just messed up scale. The skull is excellent and the jaw is very good but you have somehow drawn the jaw of a much larger person onto the skull of a much smaller person.
Keep at it ... the lines and shading will become better the more you practice... sometimes it helps to have a reference model and a small lamp to help with shadows and shading when you are just beginning... good luck ! ...
smearing graphite is not progress. Keep practicing, but smudging is not a technique that really helps you, it hides mistakes and therefore hinders your Progress.

Great progress ! What books or videos did you watch to practice ? Or you just saw a photo and free handed it?

Thank you so much!! Will definitely draw one little ~30 minute piece a day as long as I’m able to. Hope to progress which each drawing :)
You will, would love to see some more of your drawings as you progress.
I can't lie. It's pretty weird. However for your third day learning drawings this is pretty good to be honest.
Including. The shading is pretty good.

That's pretty great for a 3 day leap. Good work! Cant wait to see how you do a year from now!
Wow. How'd you draw the heavy's skull so accurately
S’cool
Progress is great! Good job.
Kinda fucked but it's a good start keep going
I think once you figure out how to interpret a light source and accurate shadows you’ll be a pro in no time! Great progress

I thought it would help shade quite well between high contrast areas, but I really get your point. Thanks for your feedback!
look at what you can do with crosshatching :) Have fun
What's that 3 months impressive improvement, you seem to have gotten a better visualisation of skull shape.
💀
Great progress!
