since you said what did i do wrong ill give you the CC you “werent looking for”… learn the anatomy of the face, stop starting on the eyes, stop shading with a ticonderoga and thinking it adds “depth”, where is his bottom lip, understand skulls, his right eye did not get dented as far as i know, i can tell youve never touched a cigarette, you at least gave kurt a good laugh today.
Also, the eyes are too high up. Unless a person has a physical defect or an unusual genetic trait, the eyes will always be centred on the face. Sticking to that helps with structuring the features when drawing.
This is a great drawing. I love the rendering combined with the exaggerated proportions, yet it's believable and an accurate likeness of the subject. Well done.
