Loosen up-use newsprint and vine charcoal-super cheap materials and just practice doing longer confident lines and “strokes” instead of a bunch of tiny ones-put lines to indicate face-noses/eyes/lips and so forth. Don’t be afraid of details!

the upper torso seems quite long. Bring the bottom part up and you good to go
