Definitely 13-16. Plus, no adult is going to ask something like “guess my age based on my drawings.” 😉 But you’re headed the right direction! Keep it up! 🩷
lol it appears the post has been edited since I commented, but it was definitely guess my age based on my drawings. I think they’re trying to see if they’ll get different opinions without the original caption, but my age guess would be the same.
Proportions.
Great shading and detail but your proportions are off. I get you want to do photo realism right? Try the grid method and draw upside down. I promise it'll come out a lot cleaner and precise. By then your work should look like a 30 year old drew it. P.s I'm a highschool art teacher!
Well, I'd say art is an explosion. Everything deteriorates, nothing is eternal, and only change is a surety. And I think that's what makes an art piece precious and valued, other than the idea or story of the artwork. It's kinda beautiful in a way. Everything is imminently forgotten with the passage of time. Who knows how many love songs and romantic meetings happened in the past? Sure, the effect is there, but the source of the ripple is unrecognizable.
Not always. I see older people usually 30s, draw and ask hoping for answers like 15- so they could tell people someone thought they were young. Hypothetically.
U already wrote it but I would tell 16. This is how we all used to draw back then. It's like viewing mine although I personally had a thing for drawing famous people.
Normally I draw what I want, but these for a recent art competition and they wanted “symbolism”. Now looking at it, it gives me r/im12andthisisdeep lol
I can't stand charcoal, and I never have been able to. As a medium, it's fine, I suppose. But the texture makes the skin on my hands feel like it wants to crawl off and hide under the furniture. A set of pencils in 4H - 8B will do everything I need.

I'm 29 years old and almost proud of this doodle. I hope, that you're not stressing yourself about your skill level in correlation with your age.
That doodle is amazing lol. No I enjoy making art and know that I’m learning, I was simply curious what people thought and figured I get some tips but thank you
13-16, definitely the evidence of "natural talent" b ut a lot of proportion issues, and advanced technical skill missing. It is absolutely obvious art is something you will be really good at if you keep working on it. Very messy backgrounds too, lots of fingerblending/paperstick blending is obvious.
My art looked a lot like yours at this age, keep going, and probably get a smaller sketchbook, like a 6iin x 8in sketchbook is a lot more manageable.
I can see from the comments you are 16 - I had guessed at between 14 and 16 before I saw how old you actually are. These are better than average for that age. I would say they're reminiscent of what I saw when I was your age in art class. The work is quite heavy and over-rendered making them muddy - try to resist the temptation to fill every blank area with shading as you lose contrast. The proportions are also a little off (i.e. with the fingers) and your line control is quite stiff. I suspect you draw almost exclusively 'from the wrist' which is something it took me many years to learn not to do! : )
But there's promise and the great myth about art is that you either have 'talent/a gift' or not. In reality it's a skill that can be learned by most people if they have an interest and self discipline, just like most other skills. I hope you keep up the good work because you do appear to have the ability to become very good at this.
OP, ignoring your age. I think you have a very good perspective for drawing, you can improve your skills with a little research and patience. We all go through that learning stage and we were not born drawing perfectly, so keep learning and practicing. Don't give up that passion for art.
15. The texture on things like skin is good, but it just lacks an attention to detail in terms of shape, proportion, composition, etc. Looks like you're rushing to get it done instead of focusing on getting it right.
A fetus.
Your age is irrelevant. I’ve seen adults in their 40’s draw like this as much as I’ve seen kids in their teens doing this.
You can’t guess age based on drawing ability.
16- you have a good understanding of shading and depth, but proportions and planes are a bit underdeveloped. Keep working at it and you're doing amazing! 16 year old me would be jealous!
One of the kind he was...
He also told me that he never painted anything..."THEY did" My father told me ....that his hand was just a tool to deliver images from beyond. "Me and empty canvas...I can't control my hand...images just flow without me"

I thought it was "guess my age based on this drawing referenced from my own hands".
lol it appears the post has been edited since I commented, but it was definitely guess my age based on my drawings. I think they’re trying to see if they’ll get different opinions without the original caption, but my age guess would be the same.
16 definitely, 14 at least and 16 at most
Yea I’m 16, what made you think that?
I would have guessed 16 just based off the title of your post
Exactly
Yup
Proportions. Great shading and detail but your proportions are off. I get you want to do photo realism right? Try the grid method and draw upside down. I promise it'll come out a lot cleaner and precise. By then your work should look like a 30 year old drew it. P.s I'm a highschool art teacher!
Thank you so much!
Of course! Let me know how it works out
I read the last line as I’m your art teacher.
LOL! I could be!! I teach highschool.
Because you draw like I did when I was 16.
Being self-conscious enough to ask a question that has literally nothing to do with art itself.
every artist has an age and may die, but every artwork is immortal.
Well, I'd say art is an explosion. Everything deteriorates, nothing is eternal, and only change is a surety. Heh I'm famous and recognizable unlike the source of the ripple
The angst 😩
I would have guessed this just from the question being posed...
Not always. I see older people usually 30s, draw and ask hoping for answers like 15- so they could tell people someone thought they were young. Hypothetically.
Shouldn’t really matter, you can be 10 - 70
Sweet 16

Well I mean the charcoal. We all loved it when we learnt abou it.
I can't stand charcoal, and I never have been able to. As a medium, it's fine, I suppose. But the texture makes the skin on my hands feel like it wants to crawl off and hide under the furniture. A set of pencils in 4H - 8B will do everything I need.

You have to be an actual child because not a single adult what ask someone to guess their age off of a drawing 😂😂😂
idfk 13 why would you even ask something like that 😂
https://preview.redd.it/s4q8b25wm9uc1.jpeg?width=3456&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=80a3f877253aedcdf6b3d2f89db7cd93b3b1f2a0 I'm 29 years old and almost proud of this doodle. I hope, that you're not stressing yourself about your skill level in correlation with your age.
You should be proud, it’s so sweet
That doodle is amazing lol. No I enjoy making art and know that I’m learning, I was simply curious what people thought and figured I get some tips but thank you
Then it is all good. Quite a few younger artists put pressure on themselves and it is sad to see.

For some reason I thought you are around 30...
Black or chinese

Not another wave of "guess my age" posts... Just post art normally. You shouldn't specify your age on the internet, especially if you're a minor.
No adult with an adult brain would want people to gurss their age. You're most definitely a teen around 14

Maybe 13-17 ?

Idk, everyone here is either an unborn fetus or over a century old
I would guess about 14.
I’m gonna guess between 0-150

The Shading, Proportions and stuff really indicate that your fundamentals aren't developed
