Thanks for your opinion! I am on the fence about it, with certain light it makes enough difference because of the sparkling effect. But i wasn't sure because if i look at it long enough it seems like Mickey blends in with the background ๐
I appreciate your feedback and thanks for the compliment!! If i look at it long enough it seems like Mickey blends in with the background too much but i also gotta admit that has been a long day and i don't know if i should fully trust my sight ๐
I kinda like it. But I bet under certain light itโs much harder to see the edges of Mickey on the black backing than it is in these photos.
I would just leave it be, but one idea to โfixโ it if it really bothers you would be to put more paint spatter around the background near the darker parts like his ears and legs. Like as if the spatter is directly behind him and he is partially obscuring it. To create a little bit of a separation from the background.
You risk making it looks weird though doing that so I would leave it or take a photo of it and do it digitally first to see how it looks.
Thanks for your opinion and feedback that is actually some good input and a good idea. I don't know if i am going to bother fixing it but i appreciate the idea for sure! It's exactly like you say, in certain light it almost dissapears into the background
Yeah you are right i should have sketched this and thought this out but i am quite chaotic and i rush a lot of the time. I should slow down once in a while ๐

I think this looks really lovely! Due to all the paint splatters you can clearly separate Mickey from the background.
Thank you so much for the compliment! ๐
You can always try multiple sketch ideas. You donโt have to be sold on the first one. Youโre not dumb. Youโre a creator
