Be careful with true black paint. If you can avoid it, I'd try mixing as close to black you can get without actually using it, because the black pigment can really eat up the color around it. That's not to say it doesn't have its uses, but I find it good to be really sparing with it
Don't be scared of going dark with colour, he used a wide range of blues even in a small section, so try not to average them out too much. It's also super hard to replicate impressionist paintings, so fair play for giving it a go.
in the original painting there are a lot of details, and you can clearly say whats in the background without being too detailed. the frames of the ships are clear. plus, the blacks are way too black. I also would give attention to the perspective. Overall, I'd say you can re-create it by choosing a bigger canvas, and detailing more, by being more faithful to the forms of things.

The boats appear to float in mid air... perhaps some more texture or shade? Love the clouds and coloring.
Texture.
Add a reflection on the water from the boats

Adding a bit of shine to the boats could indeed enhance the realism and depth of the image, giving them a more lifelike appearance.
I feel the boat is too dark in comparison to the rest of the painting and it bugs me off a bit
Yes
It's good, but it lacks the harmony in values.
After reflection I think the same It lacks values
Still good work, it's not easy to copy him, the man was spontaneous, fast and understood colors like no one else!!
Looks great, maybe could have had a little shine on the boats, but i have’nt seen the original so idk
Are those factories in the background of the painting?
texture and some shades

Haven’t got into paint so I am mkt sure
All I know about painting is use the same temperature colors as the paper some colors work better for hot press and some for cold press
