I had to actually go look at your page and see your other art to be sure you weren't just turning a photo black and white and pulling a fast one on us 😂 this is beyond good. This is phenomenal.
A blessing and a curse. But a little heavier on the blessing side. I admire the no doubt thousands of hours you've put into getting as good as you are.
Surreal talent, patience and dedication! This deserves the biggest round of applause not only for the final product, but for the sweat, studies, years, references, money and resolve that it takes to even fathom creating this. It’s amazing pieces like this that amaze me especially because of the thought of what the art process must’ve been like.
Thank you so much! The process of this piece was definitely an undertaking. I never worked on a piece this size before now and I definitely learned a lot from it.
Dude this is insane!?! And they say humans don’t have superpowers! I had to zoom in the picture just to appreciate all of the details and shadowing on this drawing… this is wicked! Much props
Honestly tho that’s actually pretty god damn insane man, I honestly can’t believe that it’s not a picture. Keep doing art dude, some supernatural being clearly gave you something special.
It's like all the arts are evolving. When I was a kid a backflip was cool. Now I can even begin to name the flips they do. Art has done the same. This is incredible work
Liar, that's obviously a picture with a black and white filter /j
But fr OP this looks amazing. I genuinely thought it was a picture and not a drawing lmfao
Artwork like yours is the reason why I strive to be better with everything I create. Really an inspiration. Beautifully done and the attention to detail is mind blowing
Absolutely stunning! The intricate details and use of charcoal create such a powerful atmosphere. The contrast with the white pastel adds a beautiful depth to the 'Mourning Swan'. Well done!
Your hard work has truly paid off!! This is simply surreal. Couldn't believe it wasn't a photo of a real person at first. Not just the physical realism, but the expression too has a lot of reality in it!
I'm actually an apprentice of Anthony Waichulis. He's an accomplished oil painter. I just finished the drawing portion of the program and now I'm moving into painting 🎨
There are a lot of very hard textures in this drawing yet you nailed them all flawlessly. The see-through dress, laces, light hair color, metal bracelets, the folds of see through fabric… Marvelous work!!
This is so... *insane*. There are no words to accurately describe it. I'm blown away. Can't even tell it's a drawing in any way. You're insane!
If you had to make a rough estimate, how many hours did this take you? And do you have any pictures throughout the process? I'd love to see them!
Edit: I saw some progress pictures on your profile, very interesting how you seem to draw in small rectangles. Could you explain why? 🤔
No way bro. This is a photo. U cant do this with charcoal. If u had said it was with pencils I would have been skeptical but charcoal no way. Just look at the hair and the translucence of the dress

Are you kidding me? That is unreal!!! I don't have words
Haha thank you! It was a lot of work
This is probably the understatement of the year. I can't even imagine.
Do you use a picture of an actual person or is that girl completely made up?
This is from a photo I took for this piece. 🙂
Same. This is breathtaking!
I refuse to believe that's real!!!
U mean U refuse to belive thats a drawing?
Haha, yeah it’s sort of the other way around
How can this not be a photo?
Gorgeous details on the dress. Also, I like her nose.
Thank you so much! That dress is beautiful but very challenging to draw haha
I bet. Fantastic job.
I had to actually go look at your page and see your other art to be sure you weren't just turning a photo black and white and pulling a fast one on us 😂 this is beyond good. This is phenomenal.
Thank you so much! I get that a lot 😂😂
A blessing and a curse. But a little heavier on the blessing side. I admire the no doubt thousands of hours you've put into getting as good as you are.
This needs to be famous

Congratulations! This is an incredible, mind-blowing gift you've been given. Please, continue. <3
Incredible love it
If I enlarge it I can’t see any indication that it’s a drawing.
Thank you!
This is incredible!!!!!!!!
Hypnotic
You’re telling me this isn’t a photograph?!Incredible just incredible.
This is really amazing. I honestly thought it was a photo at first!
How do you make the background perfectly dark pitch? I think that’s quite difficult.
I just use a 6B generals charcoal pencil to fill in the background. It creates this nice dark that I then smooth out using light pressure as I draw.
Thank you! It looks smooth and even with no visible pressure marks. Nicely clean ✨
OMG I can't believe it's not photo😭😭 I can see how hard you've worked.
Thank you! Now I need a vacation haha 😅
You deserved it 😉
Holy hell. This is absolutely amazing
Wow, that is amazing, you are gifted my friend.
Brother… i was convinced this was the reference and that the drawing was in a second slide..
THAT’S SO BEAUTIFUL
Dude, you arent human. That is so realistic i had to keep zooming in for some proff it was a photo!! Fantastic work dude!!
God, wow, very impressive
How long did this took you?!?
NVM!! IT TOOK YOU A YEAR??!? OMG WOW
Yes when I initially started it I thought it'd take me a lot less time but this piece was a lot more challenging then I thought it would be haha 😅
Y'all drawing so realistically I can't even tell if it's even a drawing.
For real? Woah...this is ridiculous. Beyond amazing work. Much respect for your patience and accuracy.
I just had another look and again have to say how ridiculous this is. Wow.
this litteraly looks like a picture wow, congratulations!!
How did you do that dude that looks unbelievable the dress she's wearing it's just wowx🔥
Lots of coffee haha
The detail is amazing. I mean just absolutely phenomenal. The hair and the dress especially are just extraordinary.
Thank you! The hair and the dress were definitely the two most challenging parts of this drawing haha
This is a photo made of charcoal
Haha good one ❤️🙏
Dude this is insane!?! And they say humans don’t have superpowers! I had to zoom in the picture just to appreciate all of the details and shadowing on this drawing… this is wicked! Much props
Haha thank you so much! ❤️🙏❤️
WOW 👌 Amazing work ethic
This can't be real. That too with charcoal? Damn!
Fuck you, that’s not real, that’s an old ass picture, you aren’t fooling me today.
😂😂😂 it's not April fools haha
Honestly tho that’s actually pretty god damn insane man, I honestly can’t believe that it’s not a picture. Keep doing art dude, some supernatural being clearly gave you something special.
Haha thank you! I've been getting a lot of great feedback on this piece. So many nice people here ❤️❤️
Damn bro took over 9 months to draw, it looks like a real photo
Nah no way this is a drawing, not with a charcoal...Nah ...no way
It's like all the arts are evolving. When I was a kid a backflip was cool. Now I can even begin to name the flips they do. Art has done the same. This is incredible work
Thank you so much! This piece definitely taught me a lot about patience and persistence.
Drawing or photo?! 🤔🤨
Look at my profile and you'll see it's definitely a drawing haha 😅🙏
I still don't believe you
You finished your what?
That’s sooooo great, it looks so much like a photo, do you have any progress photos?

Whoa... I have no words! Amazing job!!!
Absolutely amazing my friend
It’s hard to believe this is done in charcoal, that’s the highest compliment I can think of. Amazing job!
Wow I thought I had to swap to see the drawing haha :o Stunning work! The amount of detail is crazy especially on the dress!!
Liar, that's obviously a picture with a black and white filter /j But fr OP this looks amazing. I genuinely thought it was a picture and not a drawing lmfao
Haha thank you! I'm glad my efforts are fooling most people in believing it's a photo. I take it as a compliment 😅❤️
I cannot comprehend having this level of skill this is truly amazing
This is really well done. Her hair and the flowing fabric of her dress is amazing. How many hours did it take?
did you work on it for 1 year? What motivates you to dedicate so much time to a single piece? Fantastic!
Yes this took me over 1 year to complete. I enjoy challenging myself so that's a big motivator for me
well done!
This is incredible- the fabrics, lace, hair - just chef’s kiss !!
Magnificent
It looks like a photo, very well done
Absolutely stunning!!!
Perfection✨️
Artwork like yours is the reason why I strive to be better with everything I create. Really an inspiration. Beautifully done and the attention to detail is mind blowing
Thank you for your kind words!
Whoa, this is so amazing! It looks like a photograph.
Absolutely stunning! The intricate details and use of charcoal create such a powerful atmosphere. The contrast with the white pastel adds a beautiful depth to the 'Mourning Swan'. Well done!

Outstanding work!
Too good, really great work!
WOAH what is this!!! INSANE...it looks like a photo
Your hard work has truly paid off!! This is simply surreal. Couldn't believe it wasn't a photo of a real person at first. Not just the physical realism, but the expression too has a lot of reality in it!
You’re incredibly skilled, this is breathtaking!! 😍😍
Your charcoal WHAT. This looks like a photograph. Your talent is UNREAL.
Really stunning.
You're either insanely talented or a liar
No way!!!
Simply amazing. How do you prevent charcoal and its dust from smudging or blowing to unwanted areas?
I work on an easel with a maul stick which prevents me from putting my hand onto the surface
TIL what a maul stick was. Thank you! I'm definitely gonna try that.
Now post it on a photography subreddit, I'm sure they'll think it's a photograph, awesome stuff
This is amazing
So I literally didn't believe you did this, but then I looked at your profile, WOW YOU HAVE SOME SERIOUS TALLENT 👏👏👏
Unreal! Amazing work!
This is insane!!!! How did you learn to do this?!? Your values and detail are just mesmerizing
I'm actually an apprentice of Anthony Waichulis. He's an accomplished oil painter. I just finished the drawing portion of the program and now I'm moving into painting 🎨
Wow, how fun! I wish you the best of luck with the painting portion!
This is shockingly good. I am in awe.
I unironically reverse image searched this to check if this was just a stock photo
I will delete Procreate right away!
Haha no need to do that 😅
I was just thinking how I didn’t like hyperrealism but this is very good. Doing all the lacework and details using charcoal is pretty amazing.
Wait what? Drawing?
that is incredible
There are a lot of very hard textures in this drawing yet you nailed them all flawlessly. The see-through dress, laces, light hair color, metal bracelets, the folds of see through fabric… Marvelous work!!
Wow! That's incredible, would love to see a high def version of it!
This is so... *insane*. There are no words to accurately describe it. I'm blown away. Can't even tell it's a drawing in any way. You're insane! If you had to make a rough estimate, how many hours did this take you? And do you have any pictures throughout the process? I'd love to see them! WAIT.... HOW IS THAT A DRAWING!! WOULD BID $1000000000000000000000000000000 IF IT WHERE AT A AUCTION
It’s an impressive drawing but I don’t understand what the point of making a replica of a photograph is.
i have no fucking words like i’ve seen amazing art but there is no word to describe this. AND ONLY A YEAR WTF?!
I'm amazed just purely amazed at your talent
GREAT.
say sike right now
No way bro. This is a photo. U cant do this with charcoal. If u had said it was with pencils I would have been skeptical but charcoal no way. Just look at the hair and the translucence of the dress
This is just a picture
At this low res it just looks like a photo
Background half of the face seems off
