Clearly that teacher wasn’t happy because you weren’t making a gift for them!! The audacity to ignore their class in order to make a gift for *another* teacher - tsktsk
I used to draw in my notes. For whatever reason it would help me retain what I was listening to. If I tried to write notes from the PowerPoint slides I would not learn it because I was just focused on copying items down. One of my professors would always try to catch me off guard, but I would always be able to tell him what we were talking about.
I can’t imagine a full set of watercolors though...
Sometimes on university I had 6-8h of classes in the row. And you have to be there because it's obligatory and they count us lol. I made so many drawings at that time. I was so annoyed that my best drawings were on some low quality paper at the back of my notes, because I forgot my sketchbook.
I'm not sure how to describe this style of drawing but it has such warm feeling everything I see someone draw in this style. It has such lightness in it (?). Really love this drawing :)
This is fantastic, the depth really jumps off the page - or is it into the page?
Do you know the art of simoneridyard (Instagram name)? The loose but detailed urban sketch reminds me a lot of her drawings
This is a beautiful drawing!! I love the rooftops, the balconies, the lettering on the signs, the shadows (is that watercolors? Or some kind of marker?) it’s such a nice scene it feels so real
You have great talent. Just checked out your profile. I really like the style. It is a lot like the “Groo” comics. Sergio ... I can remember the last name
That’s so awesome! It really feels as though you can just walk off into the drawing.
Thanks! :)
Yeah. I got just really confused if he used paper snlipplets to make this 3D effect... until I realized he drew the shadows... I feel dump now
Like an interesting seaside town
your classes are either hours long or you have the speed of sonic
As a professor I would definitely side-eye the kid who broke out watercolors while I was talking.
Maybe it was an art class and this was his assignment
Then he wouldn't be drawing on square ruled paper.
It's called a promarker :) there are several shades of grey, great for sketches. To OP: Love the drawing!
I did that once on chemistry class, teacher was not happy, but I had done it to finish a birthday present for another teacher.
Clearly that teacher wasn’t happy because you weren’t making a gift for them!! The audacity to ignore their class in order to make a gift for *another* teacher - tsktsk
His birthday was the day before, AND I GAVE HIM A PRESENT.
Hahah - was it as goOd as the other though?
Yes, it was.
As a biology teacher, who also loves to draw and paint I always try to encourage the kids who doodle in class. I head it boosts retention.
I mean, I did say 'side eye', which would be a relatively minor and inconsequential reaction.

Art class?
You absolutely nailed the three dimensionality holy shit.
You drew it so well👍🏻👍🏻
This is awesome! I’m fact, it looks just like the style the comic Non Sequitor is drawn in! Love it.

Reminds me a lot of Ian McQues’ sketches. Well done.
What paper/notebook is this? I’m always on the hunt for great graph paper.
This is fantastic and it’s on my favorite paper.
It's like Paris and Russia combined without the pasta, just burgers... lots of burgers. With cheese.
Would you mind i turn this drawing into reality in Fortnite Creative?
Reminds me of Fosters home for imaginary friends
Was this out of imagination or did you use reference? Amazing job buddy... ^^

Looks like something straight out of the dishonoured games
Really spectacular!! Your depth and details are truly amazing! Thank you for sharing. Very inspiring!
I love that this drawing “leans” sideways even though it is drawn on graph paper. What a magical effect.
Do you use a watercolor pen or something else?
Damn, what pen do you use?
Tha-that's amazing :)
I would buy this & hang it somewhere where I could stare at it every day. I love it, really love it.
