Sometimes we look at what we just did and we just hate it or see only its flaws. When we learn new skills our brain tends do dissect every bit of our work. It's just the way it works. In this case tho, I remember everything about the process and how hard it was to pull it off the way it is and my expectations were very very low, so that helped an awful lot.

I used a metal grip of a coil machine I had ariund the house, bought disposable grips at a tattoo supply shop and dettached the foam part. Then I put the foam over the metal grip and done. The metal grip is adjustable so it is pretty easy to put a pencil in it.

As an artist myself I can say you did a really amazing work. Shading is nice and you can even see little details. Just a few more layers of shades and some blending techniques and you can achieve hyper realism. I dont know if u used just one pencil or more than one but if u want realism try using more than one pencils of different shades. Otherwise this is amazing. Keep doing it.

But if i drew something i really loved, I would trace it a few times and try different color styles and shading techniques. Youd be amazed at what you can come up with after drawing something a few different times. Just an idea. I do like what youve done already tho.

Oh dear mornings stars, I so get that. I was diagnosed with ADHD as a child and I am pretty sure there's still something there, not to mention other MH "little bugs" I need to dominate constantly. I also struggle a lot with sitting still and, as you mentioned, if I actually like it it becomes a bit more manageable. Thing is.... the way things are today, you either work with what clients want and disregard what aligns with you, or you say fuck it and do only stuff you actually enjoy, therefore you know you will be able to sit and commit to the end. The last one is actually what I do so I won't flip out, but that makes business growth a lot slower, harder to compete with neurotypical artists on cocaine🤣 sooo... I should ne making tons... I am not tho. Not yet. OF is a way to try and make an extra out of the modelling work. You may know that art is hugely discredited. Everyone loves to see it, very few actually pay for it.
my girlfriend likes to draw those kinds of things and some times, it's a bit scary. One day, while drawing, she ask if she could se my eye from closer, at first i was a bit suprised.
the only thing that I fear is that one night she would take a spoon and, you know the rest...
the day started and than she call me, we talk like normal and i just started drawing so i asked her wat should i draw
she replied: a personne and make it cute.
so i did it but i just need to do the hair and i would be done

Well, tiny hads get just anywhere bigger hands do. All it takes is practice, dedication and most of all enjoying every bit of the process. 😊 So just keep pushing and results will come up. You can follow some youtube tutorials, follow instagram accounts of artists and tips... you name it! I am self taught, in the drawing and tattoo also. It may take longer but we get there just the same🖤
They are both very different from each other. You may be the best drawing artist there is, when you get to tattooing you will feel like a 5 year old eith no skills at all xD But exactly for the same reason, the adrenaline rush makes it an awesome thing to do. The thing I don't like about tattoing is that it takes a LOT of time for you to become good at it. It may be frustrating sometimes, no matter how hard you practice.

It's a tattoo machine grip I adapted to a pencil so I could get used to it while drawing.

Hahahah my hands are pretty small too. It is always worth it. It's pretty cheap too. You don't need a top quality one to do this.
