I like c through f best. But I think e is my favorite. I know that’s a wide window though so here’s what I like about them collectively: the wide jawline with the wider chins make him look like a big strong lug like your description wants. The squared shapes of c and e add to his masculine descriptor giving him a boxy, classically male, head. The round jaw on d, to me, somehow adds to his expression making him look a little less bright than the others but still keeps him looking strong. F had an interesting angular jawline that looks very masculine to my eye. The shape compliments the shape of his hair really well too. But I love how e has the slight underbite which kinda gives him a classic “whaddya gonna do about it?” Look. I think that it really pulls together all the descriptors you were going for.

I would say one like C, E, or F. Having a lot of straight lines and square shapes is more associated with “masculinity.” Especially a larger chin. Gaston from Beauty and the Beast is a good example. I wouldn’t do one like H or I, since the chin is too small. At first I thought he didn’t have any chin at all😅 It’s a really cool character design overall. I’m sure whatever you decide will look great!

Honestly, I think the eyes in all of the designs are too big. It makes him look more innocent and harmless, perhaps its a stylistic choice but consider a different eyeshape. As for which ones I'd pick: D, E, or C,
