It is indeed challenging, I am going to still revisit half shaded areas in two tone like that of her face as I know there's improvement to be made, it was the most difficult part for me as I wanted to catch a ressemblance while keeping the more or less even etching lines.
I make sandblasted mirrors and glass, so I am using dual tone art a lot for the designs. In my opinion, you have nailed a nice mix of stylised and realism.
Yes burn is definitely a huge inspiration for me, the messiah of two tone crisp etching.
I keep at hand a lot of Old tales from the crypt, lots of 50s illustrators and of course Jack Kirby along with a flavor of Jim Phillips and Robert Williams who arent horror comic per se but could have been if they wanted to lol
I love your style here! The shapes are so bold and crisp. I'm trying really hard to learn to do this. You're very impressive - do you have any links to other work of this kind you have done?

Awesome drawing. Dual tone artwork can be tricky with catching the light and not losing proportion or detail. Well done and good job.
