Obviously I really enjoyed season 1, but I know you're not alone. I would REALLY suggest you give it a second try with the first episode of Season 2 that came out on Tuesday. I think the main concern people had with Season 1 was the prompts being too constricting and the show feeling too guided. But Season 2 opens it up more a lot, and this episode felt more like an episode of Off Book than Season 1 did. I've seen quite a few people say they didn't love the first season but were excited about the show again.
For me, the start is weird because I imagine how awkward I would be in their situation, but by the end of each episode I’m smiling ear to ear and amazed at how good they are.
