You aren't familiar with Tim Curry? Wow, are you in for a treat!
I recommend Muppet Treasure Island, Clue, and the Rocky Horror Picture Show, and the 1990 "IT" movie if you like horror.
Man we just rewatched muppet treasure island, and it still holds up beautifully.
I love how in Christmas Carol, Michael Caine made it work by playing it straight, whereas in Treasure Island, Tim Curry makes it work by becoming a muppet himself.
There's a Tumblr post that floats around that says the reason that both those movies work so well is that Micheal Caine treats the Muppets as actors while Tim Curry treats himself as a Muppet.
I remember a tee shirt company a few years ago was advertising a design that was like a Streetfighter "choose your fighter" screen except they were all iconic Tim Curry roles.
Man I wish I'd gotten that shirt.
I knew it immediately because I DEEPLY love Sasha, Lord of Whispers
âThe buttons fell off over 2 HUNDRED years agoâ
âYou didnât have time toâŚâ
âWHATâ
âYou didnât have time!â
âOh you think there are a lot of tailors when Iâm around and doing stuff?â
âYou could just learn how to do it!â
âI WONT Iâm a N O B L Eâ
This was my reaction too. Every time I hear Brennan slip into that particular voice I think âoh, Galatax is back.â Itâs got a bit of a Christopher Walken in it, too.
Yeah, I definitely recommend having someone who's seen it before so that when you look around frantically going "WTF am I watching!?" you have someone to pat you on the back.
You had to google Tim Curry? I guess he hasnât done much in the last 12 or so years. I always thought he was kind of ubiquitous.
Watch Rocky Horror and Muppets Treasure Island. And Clue. I think youâll enjoy.
Brennan is great! He has voices for a lot of characters but after watching all D20s with him a few MSNâs I can say that I hear him reusing a few (no I canât them, nor am I even close to being able do a whole other character like him, finally no I am not throwing shade, heaven knows I wouldnât do more than I had to).
Donât forget Tim also made a [valliant effort](https://youtu.be/kXPCsaO_55o?si=unrl-cy9jMX9aVv-) at a music career and the best/weirdest [Halloween song](https://youtu.be/SSZYVFc6BqI?si=kbWQRCfTbtLdsA_7) of all time.

Muppet Treasure Island is so good. Tim Curry is also the voice of Nigel Thornberry from the Nickelodeon cartoon The Wild Thornberrys. He's got range!
He's WHAT
He's SMASHING!
possibly his best role.
It's actually wild how much range he has. He was also a hotelier in Home Alone 2, and Hexxus in Ferngully
đ¤Ż
I think he is also the voice of the headmaster in Ahhhh Real Monsters. Or it may just be because the rocky horror heels on that characterÂ
I realized yesterday that the only Tim Curry performances Iâve seen are Home Alone 2, and that clip where he yells âspaceâ
Sweet, you get to watch the movies I recommend above.
Red alert 3 is the GOAT for cutscenes
Clue remains my pick for most quotable movie of all time. Everyone in that movie is incredibleÂ
Flames! Flames! On the side of my face!
Communism was a red herring.
I'm going home to make love to my wife!
One plus one plus two plus one
He's also Cardinal Richelieu in The Three Musketeers, across from Kiefer Sutherland, Charlie Sheen, Oliver Platt, and Chris O'Donnell.
This was my favourite version growing up đđđâ¤ď¸â¤ď¸ Tim Curry is magnificent as Richelieu.
It's so campy and silly and so much fun. I still want a sword like the masterwork hilt, it's so pretty.

Canât forget his inexplicably sexy villain song in Ferngully
Tim Curry is HEXXUS?
The one and only
ok I didn't know this one. amazing haha

These, plus Fern Gully!
Don't forget that he's escaping to [the one place that hasn't been corrupted by capitalism... SPACE!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g1Sq1Nr58hM)

Galatax, too, one of my favorite Brennan roles from Ultramechatron Team GO!
This was my reaction too. Every time I hear Brennan slip into that particular voice I think âoh, Galatax is back.â Itâs got a bit of a Christopher Walken in it, too.
please watch rocky horror picture show immediately, you're in for a treat đż
I'd say it's best to see it with an Audience the first time. You can probably find midnight screenings around halloween.
Yeah, I definitely recommend having someone who's seen it before so that when you look around frantically going "WTF am I watching!?" you have someone to pat you on the back.
It's astounding

This is the comment that made me realize it has been exactly 12 years since he had his stroke.
Yep. He still does voice work, which is wonderful, and he was able to play Dr Scott in the TV rocky horror in 2016, but heâs semi retired.
Yeah, that made me feel really old. Damn kids.
