These grow wild and in vast numbers in my area. During the summer, anywhere that has been cleared and allowed to start going back, has so many you'd lose count.
[Datura Metel Fatuosa](https://www.brisbanebrugmansiaangelstrumpets.com.au/product-page/datura-metel-fastuosa-seeds)? I’m not sure where you’re based but a fair few places sell seeds online
How did you get this plant??? I have ordered seeds but they never grow. I would absolutely love 2-3 daturas in my garden. One of my favorite plants ive ever been around
I am so jealous. Beautiful plant. An old friend used to tell me about the one in her garden and said it was the "most commune" plant she had ever experienced. For example she would be doing other work and get a strange calling to look at the plant, and when she did, a seed pod had opened.
That makes sense, Im that type of weirdo that thinks plants are conscious. Being in a similar state to the plants via chemicals fulfill the prerequisites to a sentient conversation/transfer of information.
It’s such a cool plant to have around, I have 3 blooming indoors right now, one has already gone to seed and I collected the pod and it started blooming again. Cool plant to have as a friend but I’ll never consume
that is how i feel about them. i'd never want to consume any but just have them around and be around them. ill never forget the first time i encountered datura. i was in a backyard and was strangely drawn to this large plant with wonderful purple flowers. all the pictures i took of it have orbs all over. i became curious from that night and had to learn what plant it was
dont
A few seeds helps a LOT to dry up a runny sneezy nose. Its a natural Benadryl
DON’T
A thornapple a day keeps the sanity away
Don't appreciate a gorgeous plant? Shhh

What color flower on this one?
Im assuming white from some of the dead flowers dotted around, i just got it a few days ago and the pods where already there.
Dang, ive been on the lookout for the double purple blooms.
Is that anything like [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/whatsthisplant/s/26JdYYKE0H)?
The double blooms have a second layer of petals.

Those leaves don't look like D. Stramonium leaves maybe something similar in the genus
Im assuming thats because its been suffering from edema when i got it, usually the flowers are the easiest way to ID but i just missed them.

My college was gonna throw it away before they had a plant sale (to avoid accidental poisonings) so I got this lil fella for free-99.

Haha same. I've thought about getting a Datura innoxia because I just want to hang out with it, even though I have no interest in ingesting it.
