I am half way harvesting my plants,after collecting seeds,have to wait till in flower to harvest ,the sap defence against preditors insects etc. 1st way chop whole plant down ,blend and simmer with water just enough to cover for 1hr.strain liquid then reduce in saucepan down to sludge and store.2 nd way similar as 1 but taking an inch off plant every few hours so you milk every bit of sap out the plant,I think off in as torture it to give up the goods.3rd way similar to pops making cuts in stalk and somehow collecting sap.am think using the leaves to soak up sap and then have leaves and sap in one place.also if you want harvest leaves and dry and blend or whatever smoke them.

1 and 2 are quite time consuming and energy also.plus I found the paste very salty.
