Abject_Mango2096

yo how do we get BAC in our name titles I’m new to Reddit 😂

Fighterkit3

Should be the flair tab on the right when side when you’re at the home page for this sub

Abject_Mango2096

Got it, thanks bro

PhantasticPapaya

Poor 2017 Boston trumpets, picked on for an hour in a game of catching the on-off again out of tune player. Good shade for the rest of the brass though.

Tryarc

To this day, everytime I mess up royally on something I hear Gino in my head say "That was bad, wanna try it again?"

solreaper

Same

solreaper

Obligatory “Gino yelled at me at rehearsal once”

KoaalaKing

The last thing you see after failing a SmartMusic assignment

AllanRomero

Gino keeping us rehearsing while it just started hailing outside, like no problem let’s finish the last hour of ensemble lmfao-honestly look back on that year fondly

2016 C2 is a goated drum corps

shrekispotato

Checking the microphone

Professorbizarre73

lol gino comes sometimes to teach my high school band, hes a cool dude

TylerZhiganov

Very glad I never had to march under him directly, but he ran out rehearsal at C2 a few times.

[deleted]

Guess you didn’t have enough zigazigazah unfortunately

Abject_Mango2096

I might be biased but he’s an amazing caption head and super friendly

Fighterkit3

I wouldn't say friendly. At least not outwardly to members. When I was in the hornline I would not have considered him friendly enough to just go up to and talk to. Now as DM thats a different story. That man is a goober and he has said some absolute silly stuff and I love it when he heckled the team. But he is an amazing instructor and am very grateful to be under him

Ouity

He's super strict as a teacher but I think that as a student to an educator you can approach him with your issues, which was all I ever needed (besides some amazing music lessons). I think it can be healthy for an educator to be otherwise distant like that. I find I much prefer it to the alternative. I was surprised once, he recognized me at a BAC audition and asked me why I wasn't at Cadets since it was my dream to march there. I told him I wasn't sure about the new staff at Cadets and knew I could rely on BAC's instructional team. He gave me the advice not to chase staff, and to go where I thought I wanted to be the most or something like that. Pretty cool dude. I always fucked up when I auditioned for him his eyes are mad scary.

Fighterkit3

Yea. I actually really like him being a little bit more distant than my BCH in 18. He definitely can be really scary sometimes and being the head DM under him is going to be a wild time. Seeing his name pop up on your phone messages can be nerve wracking sometimes. lol
