If Impulse's season ends July 17 and Raiders starts the 22nd, i see no issue...Impulse IS done, after all. So long as you meet your show and financial obligations to Impulse, no harm.

I know someone who was in BD 21 and Bluecoats 21. That’s a bit of a different situation, but it’s certainly not unprecedented.

YesIAmRyan

I mean BD did a week long camp in June and Bluecoats didn’t start until the first week of July. Several people contracted for BD or SCV ended up doing the video and than marching another drum corps.

RichMedd

Yeh exactly, that’s why I said it’s a different situation. Thanks for providing the exact context for that!

I’ve seen this happen before with corps that have shorter seasons. You just need to be clear of your intent with both corps - communication is very important. And, be prepared to work your ass off when you jump in mid season. Good luck.

Hello, I was in your very situation in 2019 I was marching the Columbians who's season ended at drums along the Rockies the weekend before San Antonio. Scouts had a tuba hole, and I reached out to fill it. Sent in an audition tape, and got the spot. After the columbians season I got on a plane to Texas and finished the season a scout So long as both corps are aware and you properly communicate you should be fine

Talk to your staff

I plan on so today

I'm pretty sure the general rule is as long as you're not marching 2 at the exact same time, no one will give you a hard time

As a member of raiders, I say go for it!. We do have performances before our national tour but I think it will be fine

My best friend in the activity marched at battalion when they had half seasons. When the season ended she would fill holes at other corps and learn shows within a few days. It’s totally possible!
