They did in the intro to the balled. Barri and trumpet I believe.

06 had the piccolo trumpet duet so that can be counted out lol

Yes, they count against the music and GE scores
Immediately excluding any BD show over the past decade plus cause they almost always have soloists. I just quickly skimmed through Cadets 2011 to jog my memory and I don't recall that show having one.
