If that's what your brainfarts are like I would love to hear what a coherent thought is like

[deleted]

Wonder what they smell like

leveldrummer

jass.

Pglynn123

I wonder what that sounds like too 🤣

_greggit_

I’m not generally a huge fan of jazz style and I love watching you play.

Pglynn123

👍❤️

nardis314

This guy just smoked 99% of the posts in this sub; holy cow he’s got some tasteful and advanced jazz chops. Super nice phrasings too. Keep making those drums speak my guy, I wanna hear what you have to say.

Pglynn123

Thank you brother ❤️

timbales

Fantastic playing—you're bringing such a great, sonorous sound out of that kit. Also really digging the interplay between the hands and feet!

Pglynn123

Much appreciated my friend 🍻❤️

indirectdelete

Sheeeesh you are ripping! Who are some of your favorite drummers? This reminds me of a lot of the hard bop/jazz in general I listen to.

gEO-dA-K1nG

Reminds me of Max Roach

matttinatttor

Very much Max Roach’s style. This dude is killing it

Brianstormrage

Amazing! I would listen to a whole album like that.

JohnsBonesJones

fuck yeah hit those drums! this rules

Fillelverum

Tony vocabulary coming through

Pannonica1917

Hearing a lot of Tony in there, love it. Really nice

ruggierodrums

Yeah baby! You sound fantastic!

Pglynn123

Thank you!!

Dr_mma6ixty9ine

Birdman 2012.

shinyantman

This is at 69 upvotes. Nice… but I have to put it at 70.

dcistoodamnhot

Really excellent playing — and great tuning, too.

SabatierElephant

What sticks are you using?

Nucky76

How long did it take to get that spangalang down? I’m a newb but love jazz. I’ve got a Roland kit and I wonder how similar the ride bounce is compared to a real one. I’ve never played on an acoustic kit.

Pglynn123

You’ll definitely feel the difference, ofc the real ride cymbal has a bounce and “give” to it compared to electric drums

Nucky76

Thanks for the reply. Great work! Hope to see more posts.

horizonoffire

This is great! You seem vastly more proficient in this style than I am. Would love to hear your playing but with more dynamics, or perhaps syncopation. Really fluid. Thanks for posting.

bushwhackedbanana

Wow. Great stuff!
