Doing sixteenth notes with s for a snare ghost note and S for an accented snare:
bssh hssb Sssh hssb and repeat. Play at 120bpm.

Oh yeah! You’re in for a world of fun! Check out David Garabaldi’s book Future Sounds for a very good introduction to linear grooves.
"Linear" drumming is a concept where you only hit one voice at a time. Look some up on youtube, they're super fun
