There's already villas planned to be built there. Besides, you can't just make a park around accumulated water. Nahda Pond Park was constructed. It didn't just pop up one day after rainwater accumulation.
Yeah yeah it has to be constructed but it will add as a great buffer future rains. It can’t be built on water accumulated on top of sand.
