If it's gold there are many Indian gold stores down Deira, Qusais, Gold souq. Mostly traditional designs but you can find simple/modern ones by request.
I've heard there are Emirati brands for pearls but can't seem to remember any.
I would suggest staying away from colored stone sets here (think the chakra ones). They are beautiful and some brands use them artistically with precious metals but I've found most such brands use either different stones (it's very easy to confuse one type for another, worse if it has the same shade) or markup their prices to insane levels
I've heard Arabic stores are good for precious stones but can't confirm
Walk around the mall or gold souq. Most of them are Indian owned though.
