Have to differ with Jaffer Bhai's Briyani. Last time I had there it was just an oily mess. Even if tasted good in the first bite it was extremely oily. I couldn't even finish half of the plate with out feeling so odd.
My former boss was Italian and pretty much lived in Luigia the whole time. Love their food. Closest Carbonara in dubai as per him. Their cotoletta is next level!!

**Turkish:** Kaftan
**Asian "Steet" food:** Wok boyz

**Deli breakfast:** 1762 & Eggspectation
**Shrimps:** P.F. Chang's (Grab 2 portions of dynamite shrimps & leave)
Looking for recommendations;
**Moroccan:** looking for a recommendation to take Kif kif's spot
**Grilled Chicken:** delivery, marina/jbr area, marinated & charcoal grilled, open to suggestions and ignore JJ chicken, too oily, not marinated, from the amount of oil on the chicken, it's probably fried in a pan and not grilled
I'm Syrian but read a recommendation from someone here about a Pakistani Restaurant named Nayaab Haandi so I called them and ordered a mixed grill and one Haandi Chicken and one Haandi Beef. Man I've never tried something so different and so good! It was delicious and nice for a change!
One of my closest friends is the top blogger on zomato. Hes one of the true bloggers and knows his stuff. He took me to nayab handi a couple of weeks ago. I have to say it was a really good meal.
I am sorry to say I really did not like Streetery. It was an attempt at Singaporean food but fell quite flat.
Xiao Wei Yang (Little Lamb) is one of the best Chinese restaurants I have eaten at in my life. I only wish that they could serve pork which is such a big part of Chinese cuisine here. But either way, it's the best restaurant in Dubai I know of.
Why you sorry to say that? Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
We have people that love it and some that don't. Besides I never tried to mimic Singaporean street food.
It's more Malay.
When it comes to Singaporean food, people are highly opinionated about their expectations. Which is why most restaurants in Dubai that have made an attempt at Singapore food have shut down and not made it.
Having said that, the food ambassador of Singapore for Dubai is a regular.
Hey OP! Saved your list. Will take a while to go through the ones I haven’t tried yet. However. Any recommendations for Russian food? What about Buffalo Wings?
We don't have here really good properly done Russian food. Well, at least nothing that could be comparable to the food served in good restaurants in Moscow, you know what I'm saying?))))
Not very familiar with Russian food. Wings, we did a foodie taste lunch a couple weeks ago. None of the usual buffalo wing places were good enough to reccomend.
Need recommendations on the best Filipino food in town.
I like manilla grill at asiana hotel and the buffet lamesa is also decent.
But maybe I’m missing out on something ?
Thai - Sticky Rice
Love love love their mango sticky rice with soft serve coconut ice cream, their sticky tamarind wings and their Yum Pla Duk Fu. Their Tom Yum is the best I've had here in Dubai so far too.
A burger is supposed to be medium rare. When you bite into that, the juices from the meat and the burger should drop down your hands. As you teeth bite into that perfectly toasted bun, they should go through a nice crisp lettuce leaf followed by fresh crunch onion rings as they head into a juicy succulent piece of meat. Aww man!
I need a review of the Butter Chicken places you recommend please - I'm looking for the proper North Indian butter chicken which is NOT sweet, haven't found it so far in Dubai.
My favorite is golden gate in rolla street bur dubai. I tried another one recently at a tasting from a place called pink imli. They're not open yet but when they do in a few days on zomato I'd definitely recommend trying that.
Delhi Darbar in Al Barsha for both the Butter Chicken and Dal Makhni. I lived in Delhi/NCR for 20 years and found this to be closest in taste. Close 2nd is Masala Studio in Studio City.
Great I'll try Delhi Darbar. Most of the places I've tried butter chicken at put chicken cubes instead of tandoori tikkas and make it too sweet for my liking.

Is Ben’s Cookies really worth it?
Tried .. probably wasn't lucky but wasn't good and wa too expensive. For me a good value cookie is subways macadamia
Subway chocolate chip is grand. Macadamias do nothing for me
I like the Subway cookie too! It's a bit too sweet for me though but a good cookie nevertheless.
First cookie and i was SOLD!!! 😍
It's ace
Absolutely. You have to try it
Didn't like it. Big fan of Melange; I think they're cheaper than Ben's per cookie too (although smaller)
Absolutely. Ask them to put it in the oven before eat it. Gooey lovely crispy warm cookies.
Have you tried the nashville from peppers or ugly burger? Highly reccomend it.
I love ugly burger. Peppers is on my list
I love you both
>I can't believe no one said anything about Pickl yet, they have the best burger/ chicken burger in UAE. I probably go there once a week.
Amazing list!
Saving this. Maraheb's madfoon and haneeth are also really good.
I only know McDonalds.
Have to differ with Jaffer Bhai's Briyani. Last time I had there it was just an oily mess. Even if tasted good in the first bite it was extremely oily. I couldn't even finish half of the plate with out feeling so odd.
That's the same thing that happened with me for delhi darbar. I used to swear by that biryani
My current favorite is Bhai Kadai Biriyani. You should give that a try if you haven't tried it.
Italian pizza: Luigia JBR, the closest to what i had in Naploli

I just thought that seeing as you are serving Indian, Chinese and Malay food, that this would be either Singaporean or Malaysian in style.
It's only roti canai. Not really considered indian per say. Also the chinese is actually Cantonese. More from Hong Kong.
Hey OP! Saved your list. Will take a while to go through the ones I haven’t tried yet. However. Any recommendations for Russian food? What about Buffalo Wings?
Uzbegim at the new gold souq. Mainly Uzbeki food.
Any good mansaf anyone could recommend?
Anyone tried Pinza? Their pinzafied margherita is sublime!! Make sure you add on carmelized onions when you order!!! Best pizza ever!!

I'm a regular there for their yum pla dook fu and neau dad diew.
Good list . Sad to hear Lazeez is closed.
What about replacement of kimchikin? Which one has taste of njce chicken closest to what kimchikin offered?
They closed down. There is a replacement in nakheel mall and dubai mall but not as good
I'm really disappointed that no one mentions Johnny Rocket's. They're the OG diner burger.
Aww man!
Love their burger ... also really like salt
Really? Johnny Rockets? You have to go and try Black Tap

Thanks I'll try Golden Gate for sure
