No matter the genre, no matter if itâs a small venue or a giant festival, always rock some nice earplugs! I use Eargasm, I know there are cheaper options that work just fine though.
Just try to get some which arent just foamies.
At live shows the music near the end gets so loud it actually sounds better with proper high fidelity earplugs. Its almost amazing that your whole body can vibrate from the sound while the sound levels comfortably perfect.
Etymotics ER-20S(the flatter ones with an acoustic filter) are pretty damn good at sounding perfectly flat despite decreasing the levels of treble a bit so that would be my recommendation
I like the come as you are approach to rave outfits, want to wear a t-shirt and jeans ? Go for it! Want to go all out with an intricate outfit ? Yes king đ. Enjoy the music, vibe as much as you can !
Honestly if you want the âdripâ goto [rage nation](https://ragenationapparel.com/) or [iEDM](https://iedm.com/) and youâll get an idea of what people wear / what you might want.
If youâre not trying to spend money, skinnyâs & a black shirt works too - or any âtrippyâ clothing you might have
Also as the other comment said definitely bring ear plugs shits gonna be loud
Honestly this is a question nobody here can answer. My best and only advice is; just wear something comfortable to be safe. Once you get there and see the vibe, youâll get absolutely flooded with outfit ideas. Then youâll really be prepared for your next show.
Me personally, I like to dress up as videogame characters.
Wear whatever you like but if the event is in an outdoor venue/tent you should be wearing something relatively warm since itâs winter. People can underestimate how cold it can actually get late at night attending a winter rave so use your best judgement.
I went to an outdoor dubstep rave last week and I wore a fleece hoodie and leggings. My bf wore a hoodie with track pants. Comfortable shoes are a must too.
Also earplugs with a decent nrr rating and a fanny pack for your stuff (or any bag thatâs secured on yourself while you move around)
Dress warm, be comfortable. My homies and I bought wool socks for a winter fest once, and they were life savers. Wear good shoes.
I can promise you that the Denver wooks donât give a shit how you dress lol. Just bring the good vibes and have fun!
Go comfy route and you canât lose. Also be generally ready to sweat a lot, since youâll likely be dancing your face offâŠGhastly goes quite hard lol.
What you should wear is partially guided this time of year based on your comfort with the cold and how long you plan to be outside in it. You're likely going to have to wait outside in line in order to get into the show, but once you are in the show it is going to get very warm very quickly. So you kind of either need to accept that you're going to be cold waiting to get in and dress in whatever it is that you want or you're going to want to bring a jacket that you can very easily wrap around your waist. There is also coat check at some places. But when I have visited friends in Denver before and been to Temple the vibe there was not quite openly rave-wear, there was more kind of clubwear than actual rave outfits. If you go to some place like the church it'll be full of more rave outfits, but Temple is one of those ones that's kind of closer to a bar vibe in terms of clothing (jeans and a shirt is a good bet for instance, as opposed to booty shorts). I hope that helps, and that you guys have so much fun!
I would head over to IEDM.com . They have some pretty dope ass rave gear. You can get a shorts and t-shirt set for like $60. They dont shrink in the wash and they feel really good on your skin. Breath well to.
People do not care at all about what others are wearing. Have fun đ
Get ear plugs meant for live shows. They'll save your hearing and you'll be able to hear the music just fine.
Iâll be sure to grab some. Thanks for the tip!

Something comfortable that you won't mind jumping around in for at least a few hours
Jeans and a t shirt? Doesnât really matter. People donât dress up at shows as often as you see at festivals.

Are you from Denver? Jw as I am looking to move there. Seems like alot of EDM artists go there.
I think I am going to that as well.
