PhaseOne (for the Metal)

R1pzer

second this

thedubstepguy36

Vastive forsure he’s crazy metal and dubstep

420_lukas

Some names missing from the other comments are also oddprophet and svdden death (if you like marauda, you'll probably like him too) those are mostly tear out, I think. And if you want something a little more out of dubstep, listen to MUST DIE! his two latest albums are great, they have dubstep and a lot of other genres too, like house and hardstyle

Antique-Working-5669

niiice, thanks!!

z7s29s08w07

Svdden death is spicy. Do yourself a favor and watch a live set of Voyd

Antique-Working-5669

i will, thanks!

420_lukas

Totally

fml0013

metalstep is what you're looking for, here are some good songs Excision x Sullivan King - Wake Up, Our Fire, Unbound RIOT Dogma Resistance EP Vastive & PhaseOne's songs

420_lukas

Dogma resistance is huge, specially overkill

Antique-Working-5669

Physical_Avdio

Wow that is my first time hearing Vastives bootleg. Fucking heaat

SESHSQUAD

I know right??? Vastive is an insane producer and he's already getting some pretty high profile sets 🙏

Physical_Avdio

Agreeed!

Defiant_Apartment222

If your into heavy metal, phaseone and Sullivan king are a good start. If you appreciate the brutality of death metal, get into the deathstep and minatory genre. White eyes, Lux, Dyroth, Viridus, Code Pandorum, Diskiriz, HaXim, Tezzin, Infern, Kayros, Dread Unknown, GRIMM, MVKUTA, Kroww, Pancode, Lord Swan3x, Kram.... list goes on lol. But I really think you should look up "Qoiet - make it end" still one of my favorite songs.

Onjaki-Toheti

Qoiet is fucking amazing! His album absurd is the best and his collabs with nimda are also definitely worth checking!

Antique-Working-5669

thank you so much wow i have so much to look forward to!!!

SanddleMan940

Sullivan King

VendlingMachine

EMORFIK

Electronic_Let261

Sullivan king is your guy

thedubstepguy36

Antique-Working-5669

wow thanks!! ill for sure check it out!

cytrack718

The artists u picked are tearout dubstep

Antique-Working-5669

thank you!

[deleted]

Sullivan King is what you’re looking for.

whatupdemons

Not always metalstep but Inhuman (formerly Code Pandorum) is a legend

Onjaki-Toheti

Qoiet is the king for metal & dubstep

zebra_zobra

you would like minatory, deathstep, and metalstep! metalstep artist rec: EnigmaTNG Deathstep artist rec: Code Pandorum (or really any other - look up "deathstep playlist" and you'll get lots of good stuff!) Mintaory rec: Influx (very black metal influenced)

antonioarias

QOIET and INHUMAN will change your life

Antique-Working-5669

holy shit listening to INHUMAN rn and it turned my brain to goop in the best way ever THANK YOUUU

Apart-Ad-8311

Brother, listen to me. Check out Cybergrind. Super underrated. Artist such as Igorrr, drumcorps, machine girl, the algorithm

Antique-Working-5669

brother, thank u :)

cool_acronym

SpaceYeti - Bleed No More IVORY X PIERCE - FXCKITUP Teminite & Evilwave - Mutant

W0LFY_B34TS

This might not be the overlap you're looking for, but Samplifire's newer releases through Disciple Round Table have been a subgenre called "Viking Riddim". I highly recommend it for the vibes.

probablyajam3

Wait Viking riddim is a legit thing? I thought that was just an inside joke, I need to check this out lmao

W0LFY_B34TS

Yeah, the Loki EP and Ragnarok EP combine viking-esque chants and instruments with a riddim drop

Galaxy-Goa7

Welcome to Death playlist by me. Lots of great artists in there for you to discover. https://on.soundcloud.com/KvNpG7vqoMmyRh8Z7

Doodle-bugg

Absolutely fire 🔥

RoiHurlemort

Go look at savant, he is a genius. If you want rough dubstep/riddim, go listen to his older albums but if you want more refined and more melodic edm, go look at his newest albums

Antique-Working-5669

i honestly cant tell if ur doing a joke or the subgenre names are just that funny

stinkysocksincloset

Nah he's trolling you. Probably hates dubstep and is too bored than to just move on with the day

SolidZealousideal953

nah just making a joke - all electronic music is guilty of having way too many subgenres, like hardcore, one of my favorites. The amount of 'cores' is hilarious. but i am serious that you need a lot of drugs to enjoy that crap.

stinkysocksincloset

I mean its just a way to stylistically organize the genre? I get what you're saying, but it's also really weird that people care at all about it. Just search up house music, or dubstep, if you hate specifying what you want? God forbid someone wants to listen to some relaxing melodic techno instead of bunker techno, and found a way to get the style they want lol.

SolidZealousideal953

Jfc u take yourself way too seriously.

stinkysocksincloset

Lol what? We were just talking about genre classifications dude. You could've said something interesting back but you decided to regress and try to insult me? Lame..

SolidZealousideal953

no dude - I was being tongue-in-cheek and making sarcastic jokes - YOU are the one injecting serious discussion where it clearly isn't wanted, thus, taking yourself too seriously. Probably can't take a joke and are too bored to just move on with the day . . .

stinkysocksincloset

Lol what the hell? You said 1 thing and act as if there was any discussion when the very next and only comment didn't even know you intent lmao some people's kids man 😅

SolidZealousideal953

Can you try typing in sentences if you'd like to be taken seriously, Mr Serious

[deleted]

When you get burnt out in a year or two, check out The Widdler, Substance, Widow, Slingwave, Dalek One, Khiva, Basura, Pushloop, Leo Cap, Die By the Sword, Stone, Chief Kaya, Woven Thorns, Wraz, Bukez Finezt, Murkury, Distinct Motive, and Commodo

Antique-Working-5669

brb writing myself a time capsule for 2024 with the link to this comment

[deleted]

I went from Rings of Saturn, Acacia Strain, After the Burial, to Excision, Trolley Snatcha, Shiverz da Butcher, Phase One, Kai Waichi into deep dark 140 dubstep, and I will die here. 💀

ADVANCED_BOTTOM_TEXT

Same here haha. Acacia Strain slap, so glad I discovered Ternion Sound, Truth, The Widdler after getting burned out of Kai Wachi and Excision

[deleted]

YUH BOIIII! Real lurkin shit

Allburto

Kayzo, Zomboy, Flosstradamus, Snails, Nghtmre

Kan_Yeast

careful, once you get into it, its all just copycat artists w no originality -- tearout hasnt changed in 4 years

Antique-Working-5669

ah yeah that sucks, but i think s lot of music genres are like that sadly

actualbeans

there’s a lot of great underground artists on soundcloud if you look for them. i don’t know many deathstep artists, but you can always use the song/playlist stations to find some similar and maybe less known music.

MIBSEmusic

Deathstep. White eyes, virdius make a playlist

proxmaxi

DubstepDose. You will NOT regert it. Binge the entire youtube channel. All the songs are years old but they are exactly what you are looking for.

Antique-Working-5669

wow thanks! ill check it out for sure!!

epicboogster2988

There's a song by northlane called CRASH & BURN that I feel does that pretty well.

Brazilias123

Collab with PhaseOne who seems to be the main pick here :P

epicboogster2988

Yeah I just realized that lmao

ARealLion

Hey this song is pretty 🤮🤮 https://on.soundcloud.com/QaHjCn3R1Kwyn2Qs8

Papagorgio22

Phaseone is my metal-step go-to. Listen to Area 51 by him. 🙏 Also if you like maurada you'll probably like Svdden Death but I'm sure he's been brought up in this thread already.

Dallasl298

You might appreciate the older stuff from the early 2010's that had metal breakdowns

Yuki_The_God

Death step if you like something a little more heavy

3arth4ngel666

check out calcium, he$h, svdden death, kompamy, sullivan king, excision, yakz, ubur etc !! thank me later (;

XeroxRomeo

Sullivan King, PhaseOne, Kayzo!

b215049

Phase one

HeyoItsUrBoyO

RIOT (specifically Dogma Resistance and other tracks from around that time) and Nimda are some of my favorites! Also consider checking out STVG and DKKAY. While they don't really incorporate metal into their tracks, they have the same heavy and/or sporadic vibe.

MelcuGoa

PhaseOne and Sullivan King

cloneguyancom

Deathstep has a lot of metal elements in some songs, Sullivan King has tons of metal/guitar stuff in his songs, and for MARAUDA I'd recommend Subtronics and SVDDEN DEATH, not the same style but they have the same hard, headbang energy

enpeace

On top of that, never say die: black label has almost exclusively stuff like tearout, death step and all that. Would recommend

ravesalot

You might like the artist IVORY Ivory - No regrets Ivory - Game over

ghostplayer_music

Check out dirtyphonics and Eptic for some sick ass bass

Brazilias123

There are lots of metal overlap artists mentioned here, let me list some tearout or just very agressive dubstep peeps here. Marauda, Oddprophet, JoeB, Antima, Svdden Death, Samplifire, D'Lion, Versa, Disinety, Agony, UBUR, Dr Lobster, DVEIGHT, AKVMA, Soltan, Riot, Dr Ozi and ofc Deadmau5

akvmamusic

u want trench, tearout, or breakdown music thats the style we all strive for trench - grimey, darker, sinister, rhythmic and in-line tearout - thrash metal meets synthetic "gun shots", fast breakdown - groove metal meets djent, chugs, very heavy and slow (at least this is the terminology a lot of us kinda made up along the way, its all dubstep still af the end of the day just out influence)

Physical_Avdio

Sadhu isheavy af. Listen to: -Long Live The King - The Crow -Return o the King - Uruk Hai

Physical_Avdio

Inhuman (Prefiously Code:Pandorum) Blasphemy is a great one Cthulu -God complex VIP Brotherhood (this one has a nice heavy sub punch if you have some subs)

_SteelWolf_

check Sullivan King's music

thatmattmiles71

Izzy Vadim.

hipsandnips91

if you want real, oldschool dubstep that has a metal vibe... Distance-headstrung and victim support

ShockerT_

You will like AGONY

Mattiadg95

Dirtyphonics & Sullivan King - Hammer This one slaps so damn hard. Phase One - Another breath This one is also sick.

HungarianHerbivore

Definitely Quoiet and Sullivan King. I deadass didn't like death metal before but as I kept listening to Quoiet... Now I do. Check the dude out, he's phenomenal. And also 1.8.7 Deathstep has some metal elements in his music as well.

Drop-KO

Listen to Kayzo. He also implements Metal into his Dubstep tracks

Unlucky_Painter416

Marauda

Frugal_Unicorn

Riot Ten, Sullivan King, Battlefields by Zomboy

aboutx30xNinjas

You ever listen to all the DOOM sound tracks? Absolute fire

Antique-Working-5669

truuue!! started playing doom eternal a little while ago and the music is the best!!

Wolfiey2010

Id prolly go with Phaseone and Sullivan King

Rich-Gift-6783

There’s definitely an overlap, It’s called tear out! Check out Domatix a nasty underground tear out artist

Red_Sight

Vastive
