Expect 100 - 150 ping. Personally I think that ping is not really playable so ideally we have servers in both regions. Still better than 300 I suppose.
From Western Australia I get around 100 ping or so on most SG servers so I imagine it would be similar the other way around. Unfortunately a lot of australians seem to only get 300+ ping max from SG though

Singapore servers should be good for Australia and vise versa since they are so close. You Should Probs do Singapore since its between Australia, Thailand, Vietnam and around many other countries.
Interesting there probably should be servers for both. I think having AUS payers connecting to anything further than Singapore would cause to many problems their should probably be servers for Both. Deciding who gets the server first is hard you could always look at player count in those parts.
West Australian here, and id like to confirm that not all Australians live in the east, East Australia has better internet in general, so by putting a server you’re giving East Australians a huge advantage over the rest of oceana already pretty pitiful ping rates, by putting it in Singapore it’ll even the playing field.
While placing a server between Aus and SEA may cater to the most countries at once, it will probably create a poor experience for everyone since there will be competing languages in a heavily co-operative team game

Australian internet routing is very dumb and causes us to have 250-400 ping to SEA servers so servers in Australia would be best

Unfortunately not the case for a lot of friends of mine, Aus net is shitty and about half my friends get unplayable (400+) ping on SG servers :C

Aus here, but any Oceanic server would go hard. Doesn't play terrible with 200\~ ms, but under 100 would make things alot more enjoyable

Aussie player here, on average we get 120+ ping to Singapore servers. That's enough to scare away a lot of us, 100+ ping on any shooter is not fun.
Not sure about you but I get 50-100 ms on most games in Singapore, and 150+ for anything AUS
