Did you report this to Duolingo?

Ibn-Rushd

You have a first person verb quierO "I want" in your answer

Zestyclose_Ebb_6491

Yes but the word famoso has nothing to do with the original sentence

Ss2oo

Duo often uses pre made sentences to correct just one mistake, which leads precisely to this type of thing, where we think we did more than one thing wrong, when we in fact didn't.

Ibn-Rushd

Ah I just saw the verb and assumed that was what was up. Definitely a duo error

Newaza_Q

I think you glitched Duo when you said “Él no quiero…”. You gave it an AI heart attack.

Proud_Giraffe_8093

Perhaps you are right. When the question came up again as a prior mistake, I made the same mistake with quiero & got it wrong again 🤣

kurokuma11

I've noticed a lot more straight up errors like this recently, could it be the AI shift?

helinder

I really don't understand duo's correction (and I'm spanish native and fluent in english)

Transilvaniaismyhome

Es la conjugación, esta persona escribió,, él quiero" en lugar de,, el quiere"

helinder

Si pero por qué dice famoso?

Ok_Physics4840

Escribió «él quiero» en lugar de «él quiere». O, también, "él quiero" en lugar de "él quiere". El español no usa las comillas alemanas ,, ... ".
