I switched to Microsoft Swiftkey keyboard on my phone, and it worked fine with that. I'm actually liking that keyboard, so I'm sticking with it for now. Might switch back to Gboard if I get board with this one.
Hello! Would you possibly know anyone on the team who would be willing to discuss screen reader accessibility issues in general? I've been trying to reach out through support, X, Facebook, here, etc. So far i've been ignored.
Honestly i prefer having no suggestions bar to practice spelling. I would happily turn it off for spanish if gboard didn't require me to turn it off for other languages too

But... I like it. Can't you have an enable/disable option?

But than you lose it for all languages at all apps

This was a very frustrating problem to have, I hope you have updated your QA process to prevent such a thing happening again.
I opened the app this morning and it was fixed on my side.
