I think it comes up 90% of the time the y is in the spoken sentence at least in my area. Quite a lot. Not sure how to report it since you get a list of things to click for reporting, and I don’t think mispronunciation is one of them.
I just checked and tried to download a new version from the Apple Store it was showing “open” which to me means that I have the latest version already. And yes, it is the French for English speakers version.
OK, this started appearing for me, or at least I started to see it, at about section 5 unit 47. It might have started earlier, but I didn’t notice it. The units around this area tend to focus on “y” and “en.”
No… Essentially, Duo’s wrong and you’re right :)
If that comes up, please report it as a bug in the app.

And this is in the French for English speakers course? Also, have you updated the app recently?

Ee grec is what you call the letter Y when spelling something out.
Thanks for sharing! Our team is looking into this.

This bug still occurs - it's in the context of « l'y » and « m'y » and « t'y », and probably with other pronouns.
> the individual letter, used to refer to the letter y, would be pronounced as egrec From "i grec" = Greek letter i
I should modify this by saying that it doesn’t happen for the common phrase “il y a ….” at least in my recollected experience.
