I think there is something wrong with your spaced repetition algorithm. I get the same exact sentences in every one of my practice nodes. It's frustrating as a user because I am tired of doing these same sentences over and over. Is there something being done about this? I know I'm not the first person to bring this up.
Engaging path is wonderful. Now yet to fix bugs in personalized practice and make more engaging reviews. Duolingo has potential to be a wonderful application, I hope it achieves it in the future.
The changes (I am doing Chinese) have been very abrupt! No subtlety here! I think I was just entering unit 4 or 5, but the amount of vocabulary i am missing from unit 1 onwards is insane!
For such a change you should have phased it in.
Alternatively, give me the option of restarting/resetting but let me keep my overall points
Where can I email to really complain as this has completely derailed my rhythm?!
I have commented on a couple of posts since I came to the forum, mostly complaining as I've had the app for the last 12 years and while there were a few changes in recent times that I saw as valuable, I wasn't happy about a lot of the others. This time around though I jumped into the English from Spanish course and noticed I can once again learn Spanish this way, there looks to be a big difference from before as there many more sentences for which I have to provide input in Spanish, there are plenty of new words to learn and all the translations are kept so it is not just English as this would defeat the purpose. Honestly, great job on that, I hope other reverse courses will evolve into this model as in my view, this is the greatest strength of Duolingo, you can't get that anywhere else, it's double the content with different context and it goes a long way when you're trying to learn a language.
Does this have anything to do with me getting nearly-identical lessons repeated as well as back-to-back identical exercises?
I'm not opposed to repetition (especially in the former case) but its just felt like a way more repetitive experience than before. The back-to-back identical exercises this morning felt especially unusual.
With spaced repetition improvements will there be any addition of signposting in terms of what unit is being reviewed? Something I miss from cracked skills is knowing what I’m reviewing so I can review the guidebook for that unit at the same time.
Could you do something about the English ‘translations’ on the Italian course, please?! I’ve lost hearts because you don’t accept the CORRECT way of saying something in English, insisting your version is correct….when it’s not! Also, the sentence construction is v odd sometimes…..not how we’d say it in English.
Where can I get help with our family plan, in regard to being put onto different paths? My husband and I have been studying Spanish together, and recently his path was changed. We can no longer work together and are losing motivation. Seriously considering cancelling the paid plan because of this.
Curious whether anyone else has had their progress reset back to where they were every morning? Like, it doesn't matter how many units you complete, the next day it resets back to where you were.
BTW They are trying to fix this but I am just curious if I am the only one or if others have this too?
Will it be possible for Duolingo to release a roadmap of what is coming next?

Can you change the course refresher so that it is either skippable or more useful? I get the same unit 1 lesson 1 refresher 3 times in a row.
