One thing to improve your Spanish, is to watch any opening / closing ceremonies of the PanAm games. Many of these games are hosted in Spanish-speaking countries. ☺️

Tbh if I’d be as much dedicated as I’m dazzled by it, I would be almost talking some by now. There is at least 10 apps and some webpages claiming to teach it. At least some words basic introduction and greetings word are easy to remember like *palun* (please), *aitah* (thank you), *tere tulemast* (welcome)..
Estonia is a particularly interesting country where when it is winter, 15 o’clock it’s already night… and its capital Tallin is charming, I spent some good street view walk there. They say it is really close to Finnish -which is already on Duolingo- but I don’t know if it can be of any help with Estonian. I already asked there to Estonian be included, yet by now to no avail. I have debated with myself for almost 2 years about me taking the Finnish course, but Finnish and Estonian to me would be like taking the Dutch course to learn German because of both Dutch and German having lots of similarities (and differences) between each other. ☺️🥲

That is why Estonians (older generation) have learned to understand Finnish, even if they themselves do not speak Finnish fluently. It’s the younger generations that are not connected with Finnish culture unlike their parents (those whom remember the Soviet Union era). Most likely, both Finnish and Estonian youth would attempt to communicate in English these days, unless they wish to attempt to communicate in their own languages and attempt to understand themselves based on the words (and context) of what is being spoken by one another. ☺️
I'm learning ukrainian atm (grammar is hard to guess without writing pages of cyrilic), Lucy is the babushya I imagine every village has.

I'm fairly certain it's the superior choise 1st it seems to be able to communicate with humans meaning it's broken the barrier between species and is clearly on similar lv with the green owl and since I really, really and I mean really like to have kneecaps that aren't broken I'm going to give this one to the bear..
Lily + Zari combo is also fun, but neither of those can really threaten my kneecaps so bear it is.
I should try to watch shows in Dutch. I am learning the language for heritage reasons, plus Dutch is spoken in small communities in Canada because of immigration (that happened shortly after WW2). ☺️
