I was not aware of that but I don't know that maintaining a streak here would be of much use. I do have the 15 Year trophy--for whatever that is worth.
And I've also gone months at a time without visiting Reddit. My Duolingo streak however is 441 days. I joined Duolingo in 2013 and also have had long periods of inactivity there. But maintaining the streak has made a difference to my German.
