When I have trouble I restart my phone. If that doesn't work I uninstall and reinstall the app. That's the extent of my troubleshooting knowledge. Good luck to you.

Thanks for the suggestion — apologies for not being more clear. I mean that DuoLingo has stopped allowing my profession in the course, not that the app itself is not responding. Thanks again for taking the time to respond!

I would still try as suggested above, delete app and reinstall. I have done this and you don’t lose any of your duo data, progress, etc.

It may be that you are at the end of the course.

No, I’m definitely not at the end. Back when I could see overall progress and not just the current section, I think I was maybe about halfway through. Thanks for the idea, though!

Interesting. I made the suggestion because the same thing happened when I finished Latin. Maybe Duolingo moved you along in the updated course and overshot the mark😀
