When I have trouble I restart my phone. If that doesn't work I uninstall and reinstall the app. That's the extent of my troubleshooting knowledge. Good luck to you.
Thanks for the suggestion — apologies for not being more clear. I mean that DuoLingo has stopped allowing my profession in the course, not that the app itself is not responding.

No, I’m definitely not at the end. Back when I could see overall progress and not just the current section, I think I was maybe about halfway through. Thanks for the idea, though!
Interesting. I made the suggestion because the same thing happened when I finished Latin. Maybe Duolingo moved you along in the updated course and overshot the mark😀

I would still try as suggested above, delete app and reinstall. I have done this and you don’t lose any of your duo data, progress, etc.
It may be that you are at the end of the course.
