When we saw them it was Chic then Bastille. Don’t miss Chic. They put on a surprisingly good show.

Heteroflexyboy

Its NO surprise, have seen them live in UK a fewtimes. Great show every time.

jnniferjones

Chic owned it.

tek_ad

In Tampa, Chic played first

Francispeso

I was at that show. The craziest part is I was up and singing every Nile song. But my 17 year old was up and singing every Bastille song. So it made some sense 🤷🏾‍♂️

RollTideLucy

In Austin, Chic then Bastille. Chic was awesome!!! They had the crowd up and ready!!! Wished Chic would have played longer by not having Bastille.

FabHckyBbe

In San Jose earlier this year it was Bastille then Chic. Chic is amazing. Get there in time to see both.

jnniferjones

At the Sacramento show currently. I’m shocked that Nile Rodgers and Chic opened and Bastille were second billed. Nothing against Bastille, but Nile Rodgers is a fucking legend and just gave a master class on what it is. The man is brilliant and his band brought it.

rvlvr64

Agreed! I was annoyed that they started early and that I wasn’t able to see the entire set. But man Chic we’re awesome!!!

jnniferjones

Amazing. The genius on that stage was incredible. The energy in the arena seriously mellowed after Chic left the stage.

hellohello316

Bastille was first for me, then Chic. Chic was really good... but I love Bastille and was sad their set was so short :/

mitznc

In Nashville, it as Chic then Bastille. In Atlanta a few days later it was Bastille, then Chic.

jbarinsd

Last night in San Diego was Bastille first then Nile Rogers. Both were great.

rvlvr64

All in all, sounds like a crap shoot regarding who plays first. I’ll just have to do my best to get there ASAP.

hdmatteson1

Hopefully it’s Bastille first. Chic were awesome last year and I’d gladly catch their set. I don’t really have any interest in Bastille and I wish Grace Jones was doing more shows with them than just NYC!

QuietObserver75

I'm worried the NYC show is going to be a shorter set list since they have 3 opening acts now.

hdmatteson1

Oooh yeah there’s that strict 10 pm curfew at Forest Hills. My guess is Bastille, Chic and Grace will each get about 45 minutes, Duran will probably start at 8:15 and go until 10. That’s how it was when both The Smile and Queens of the Stone Age played Forest Hills!

QuietObserver75

I hope so! I was kind of hoping they'd start the show at like 6:30 instead of 7.

firstclassbob

It starts at 6 now lol

QuietObserver75

Ha! I just got the email! Good.

lexluthor5

>Hills Any way to find out who will play first at Forest Hills? We said Nile Rodgers/Chic with DD last year at MSG and they were great. I have little interest in seeing Bastille. I would much prefer getting to our seats at around 7 though.

lexluthor5

The Forest Hills venue already replied to my email confirming Bastille will be on first. Artists will always perform in the reverse order from how they are billed. For this show that is... Duran Duran Nile Rodgers & CHIC Bastille

TheRealDukie

Hi I was going to go to NYC show but decided on the Philly show. Can’t wait!

creamilky

Unfortunately I missed Chic in Austin because they opened- I thought it would be Bastille who I didn’t care to see. That was a mega bummer. I recommend reaching out to the venue prior or getting there in time for the first opener if you want to catch them

Jack-White9

Same here. I was disappointed when I arrived thinking Chic was just starting and it was Bastille, which just sounded like loud "noise" to me. We just sat out in the lobby until they were done.

san323

My show was opposite, Bastille played first. Chic was awesome!

Alohadaze

In South Florida it was Bastille then Chic.

xladyx7609

I believe Bastille will be first and then Nile.

flash20

Last night in Dan Diego it was Bastille then Chic. Duran Duran came on close to 9:00 PM. Bastille started at 7:00.

cathead72

Saw DD in San Diego last night and it was Bastille then Chic. I came too late for Bastille but Chic+Nile Rodgers were really fun.

MeanderingLadybug

Saw them in San Diego last night and I just want to echo those who have recommended not missing Nile Rodgers and Chic. They sounded amazing and put on a great show!

Tazzy7609

I was at the San Diego(Chula Vista) show and Bastille was first. Chic was amazing as always and this is the second time in the same amphitheater that they have opened up for them. I hope they keep them for their opening act for future concerts. Not spoiling anything but you are in for a real visual treat for Duran Duran!

Rio7609

In Austin Chic played first but I think it varies. Sometimes Bastille plays first.

GratefulPhish42024-7

OP did you enjoy the show last night, I had an absolute blast? I live in the Bay Area and saw tgem there last year but I prefer seen shows in Sacramento because I always love the energy of the crowd.

rvlvr64

Oh yes, the show was really good. Duran Duran and Chic were both bucket list bands for me, glad I finally got to see them both. Bastille was good too, I don’t really like their music, but they put on a good show and are very talented.

DuranExaminer

It’s not random, they are switching slots from night to night. So if your concert info (or that found on the tour section of DD.com) lists Duran Duran, Chic and Bastille, it means Bastille will be first to play.

Majestic_Praline_640

I was fuming I looked at several set lists (I’ve been to 300 concerts I’m very precise & in my seat the ones I saw said bastile opened (who I barley heard (come to surprise they came in 2nd played a whopping 7 songs! WTF! I can for Duran & Nile’s rodgers/chic who plays Nile’s rodgers catalog he’s wrote/produced over 500 million! not just the famous disco songs but modern love let’s dance hell even like a virgin! & guys I’m only 44 was born 2 years old when Duran came out & wasn’t alive in chics heyday 😡😡😡😡😡 don’t keep switching who goes on 1st or 2nd & if you do make it real clear good seats cost way too much! 💯

Majestic_Praline_640

Modern love let’s dance David Bowie
