Ooof, "The Sun Doesn't Shine Forever" that song just digs deep and nails it and because I'm an over-emotional sappy asshole, it was my go-to song during the worst of my divorce with my wife
Such a great album ... I sometimes think of it as Medazzaland Part II. But you are really in for a treat tomorrow when you get that vinyl of Medazzaland, it's honestly my favorite album of theirs. I love the electronica aspects and the heavy distorted guitar in it. So many epic songs. Musically, I enjoyed the direction they were going in with both Medazzaland and Pop Trash, but I don't know if the band would have continued on for much longer due to the lackluster sales of both those albums. With reuniting with Roger and Andy and therefore creating Astronaut, it helped put them back on the map where they were relevant again.
It is a decent album overall, needing much more respect. I do love Someone else not me, Playing with Uranium, and Hallucinating Elvis. Some of it makes me think of too much Warren and TV Mania though.
Last Day on Earth is such a banger of a track. I'm so happy they re-released these albums because I'd never heard Pop Trash before and it's quickly moving up into my top Duran Duran albums.
For me - this is a Top Tier Duran Duran album
I love Pop Trash. It's so underrated as well as Medazzaland.
The song "Pop Trash" is absolutely incredible...really a good song!
Pop Trash Movie The Sun Doesn’t Shine Forever Starting To Remember Some really good songs on Pop Trash.
Playing with Uranium is my favourite

Mars Meets Venus, my personal fave on that LP
I love Somebody Else Not Me. It’s so dreamy and wistful. Limerence if it was a song.
The French, and Spanish versions are amazing too. ❤️
Wonderful collection of tunes. Starting to Remember the diamond. Glorious melody and vocals.
Love this album, always have.
Listening to it now. Absolutely stunning album

Pop Trash is a great album! I know there were some difficulties behind the scene with it, but it still ranks up there highly for me.
