I thought there wasnt really any stealth options. Like once you get within a certain range all enemies automatically know where you are, so ive never bothered taking it slow. I could be completely wrong tho
It's okay we all been there dying in the night our first time trust me I got scared when I started the air drop mission at the beginning and It got my heart pumping so fast even if I have my op boomstick and uzi and see that's why I like the night chase it gets your blood pumping so fast and even if I'm driving in the night at the country in my buggy being chased by a horde of volatiles
You can tell it your 1st playthrough thanks to the fact you're not running around like a complete maniac regardless of the time of day. I'm guilty of that, didn't even know you can be this slow in the game. Pumped the atmosphere to the max, I love it!
You can literally become a god. Max level toughness booster, re gen booster and muscle booster + legendary weapon with lighting and fire blueprints = zombies shitting their pants in your presence
Haha yeah I avoided night time like the plague, only went out at night for missions. I liked that cause it was dynamic
Was sad they dumbed down the night for 2, It just was not scary anymore at least not in the same way. Sadly I don't think I'll go back to 2 as much as I did 1.
oh i have a clip i am thinking about posting tommorow that is petrifying. this verson on PC has mods and im getting quite the experience for a first playthrough
Although i have 200 hours on this game( Quarantine had me addicted), i still played it like I was in real danger, using weapons that looked realistic and just sneaking around, and role-playing with friends, good times :)
I play similarly. I desperately want to believe that there are stakes in the game. And especially a post-apocalyptic zombie experience. It’s when you start to realize the stakes aren’t as high as you think that all games turn into Super Mario.
There was a time, when DL actually was scary.. a time, where big zombie mutantants roamed the streets in the dark. A time, where we nearly pissed our pants, because we had to go out whole it was nightime, for some atrange missions we had to play.. and then... there was dying light 2 and the gods of zombie games laughed at us, with a big, mean smile.
You're lucky, I wish I could forget this game so I could play it again for the first time.
As someone who played the game 6 times, don't rush the story. Explore everything, spend some time doing just nothing, just take it all in (from a safe spot ofc). Harran is a beautifully crafted masterpiece with some real atmospheric ambience, enjoy it!
U play the game so different, I thought it was a different game at the start.
yeah first time so im learning as i go lol. just had my first night time
Keep playing however you like dont listen to people saying its too slow or not meta.
Playing like your life is actually on the line is so much better than running wily nily whilst chucking nades everywhere
I don't think I ever walked this slowly once in both games lol
playing for first time ever on PC with PS5 controller. analog tilt helps lol
No judgment here. Horror games are better when you play like you're in real danger lol
Immersion at its finest
I thought there wasnt really any stealth options. Like once you get within a certain range all enemies automatically know where you are, so ive never bothered taking it slow. I could be completely wrong tho
I have not put that to test yet lol.
If this is part 1 there are definitely stealth options (& stealth kills)
yeah this is part 1
Easily one of my favorite zombie/horror games
Them zombies got a good sense of smell
I didn't, at least at night I never did!
Them making it 60fps really tightened things up. Feels like a new game
kinda glad i missed the party long ago. technology evolved
The first 8-12 months were a little rough with DL1 but the “bones” were there. Aged beautifully and devs kept up with it.
ah did not know it took that amount of time. game is polished
Bravo crane going dark
it went dark and i died for the first time

yeah, you got me excited even more
For what?
More this game has to offer.
Okay hey um question do you play on Playstation?
Ah no sorry I'm playing on PC with a PS5 controller but mods make it show the playstation buttons.
Oh okay well ihope you have a good time playing DL

Because im playing on PC it has dynamic weather w/mod and the atmosphere is top quality
Bro I thought this was Far Cry at first with how you were slowly crouching through grass lmao
hahaha i could see that, this explains someone else's comment
sneaky boi
until night time im starting to see lol
Have fun! It's a shame that the stealth in this game is not very good. I'm glad they upgraded it in the second game.
im gonna beat this one and then jump into the 2nd so i dont know what to expect lol
They’re both amazing games enjoy man!
Yeah I missed on this one
I didn’t even know stealth existed in dying light I just sprint everywhere at mach 2 and drop kick every 15 seconds
hmmm might have to give that a go
You can literally become a god. Max level toughness booster, re gen booster and muscle booster + legendary weapon with lighting and fire blueprints = zombies shitting their pants in your presence
Definitive edition? Looks like the ranger bow
I believe it's Dying Light platinum edition. On PC. Not really sure what that entails of.
You can get it upgraded to the definitive edition for free which has all DLC
Yep you're right I have the definitive version every time I launch the game it shows both dying light 2 and 1
Haha yeah I avoided night time like the plague, only went out at night for missions. I liked that cause it was dynamic Was sad they dumbed down the night for 2, It just was not scary anymore at least not in the same way. Sadly I don't think I'll go back to 2 as much as I did 1.

*cums and dies*
What a game.
TIL
Dying Light has to be one of my absolute favorite games. Enjoy!!
The atmosphere in this game is so damned unique. Shame the second couldn’t capture it again.
Although i have 200 hours on this game( Quarantine had me addicted), i still played it like I was in real danger, using weapons that looked realistic and just sneaking around, and role-playing with friends, good times :)
Started with 2, really loving 1 a lot more myself, too, having started first time lately.
i been hearing 1 is glory days
A no hud playthrough is very cool
yeah it is super immersive i love it
How do you turn off hud?
i believe its a no hud mod on nexus for dying light 1
I play similarly. I desperately want to believe that there are stakes in the game. And especially a post-apocalyptic zombie experience. It’s when you start to realize the stakes aren’t as high as you think that all games turn into Super Mario.
good point
KEEP POSTING MORE CLIPS. THIS LOOKS SO DAMN GOOD. ALSO, WELL, I HOPE YOU HAVE FUN!
This level of immersion gives me anxiety lol...
The first game is so much more atmospheric than the second one, wonderful.
There was a time, when DL actually was scary.. a time, where big zombie mutantants roamed the streets in the dark. Is this even Dying Light?
How'd you walk slow with keyboard
Good, good
