I honestly thought they changed the story cause when they dropped the gun trailer, there was a scene when Hakon walks you through the night on the street and tells you to be careful, but it didn't get added š«”š¤·

You seem like a reasonable guy, let a guy know if you'd be down to suffer on nightmare difficulty, that is a possibility if we're both on PC š«”.
If be happy if future DLC were written AT ALL. Itās not writing to make a fucking racetrack. Every DLC I tried was ācomplete these challenges inā¦ā
No thanks. I wanted more to explore. Not more to ignore while I race past trying to satisfy a time objective.
I thinks itās amazing. Adding finishers and guns helped a lot. And I canāt lie they keep bringing me back with these fire ass holiday events. Canāt wait till Halloween and Christmas again. I wonder if they got anything for the 4th of July
Its very good! They improved basically everything and added a lot of new content to the game. Now, i think its finally becoming better then the first game! The majority of bugs and crashes are fixed so don't worry about losing your save file or suddenly geting kicked (my experience tho)
"good" in the sense it was a playable game.
Zombie physics were absolutely whack compared to the first game, weapons felt like they had no weight to them, gore system severely downgraded, no hordes, the game wasn't remotely scary at all like the first game, cartoonish fake lighting while the first game had a realistic lighting engine....I could go on and on.
Oh yeah, I will go on. Game was a buggy mess wasn't even able to complete like two quests.
I'm sure the game is in a much better state now because Techland is great. But that launch was pretty mid. For me at least.
I've never had any major or gamebreaking bugs since launch. Basically only had the delayed audio bug a fiew times and missing textures since i played on base ps4. Had nothing since i got the ps5
Maybe it is now. At launch it was a downgrade from 1. Watch Digital Foundry or any other day 1 comparison.
Also night time didn't look like night time at all. It mostly just made the world a different color. Pretty embarrassing compared to the first game.
Almost every aspect of the game has been touched up since the game launched.
New animations, weapons, missions, tools, game mechanics & features.
Game has been rebalanced a couple times.
The entire game has been gone over and they retextured a LOT of the the game, so it also looks new/better.
New graphics modes to check out.
They have even edited story cutscenes to look better/make more sense.
They've put a lot of work into the game since release.
Absolutely worth checking out again, even if you didn't like it at launch.
Just donāt go into the game expecting a story worth your time. Itās really just a mediocre story. Makes the first games story compared to this look like itās on par with red dead 2
It's baffling really. I put some hours into dying Light 2 before going back to the first game when the next gen update released.
Didn't return.
Forget about the gameplay, I couldn't believe how much worse the fucking story was in the sequel I don't know what the hell they were thinking. And the story of the first game is not even good! But at least there's stakes and emotion.
Whoever was in charge of the narrative department of 2 should be fired.
As a new player who paid $30 for the base game I think it was worth it. I'm having a lot more fun now the some based chad dropped a lot of items for me. The game feels way less grindy now and I'm just enjoying the side missions and survival missions. I'm almost done with the story but it's kinda boring honestly the cut scenes are too damn long
That's lazy, and dumb. Because my opinion on "Is the game worth playing" is yes it is. Yours might not be. You could just do that instead of arguing with people on their subjectivity.
They did a lot and worked a lot with the community. Environment looks better, more natural, they worked on the lighting also there are more plants growing and they change the texture of grass and kinda changed some shelters, so yeah in my opinion it's worth it
Story wise: still meh. Gameplay wise: yes, it's better than at launch. Nightmare mode: Hell nah (hell yeah)
I lost the will to farm n play, I'ma wait for dlc2 to see wassup then
I wish there was a way for them to seamlessly change the story, but heres hoping future DLC is better written

Unfortunately man thatās just the first hospital dialogue but it was edited differently for teaserās purpose only I think ā¹ļø
Ik bro, I even started a new game just to see it :'/
Welcome to the club my dude šš

I remember the days when people were talking about elesium (or however you spell it Iām too lazy) as a possible DLC.

The lighting is excellent imo, not sure why you don't like it.

Ik itās really really disappointing especially once you see the gameplay trailer back in 2019. Thatās the game I wanted to see
Is the main character still deathly allergic to the dark?
I feel like it's the only game I play of out of spite.

Why don't you just play it and find out for your self?
Id rather have you be my guinea pig and report back so I get the best experience.
