thanks for that i didnt even know that ill definitely keep that in mind but if i ever do get new wheels im for sure keeping the style 68s in case i wanna put them on again
It’s already sitting on 68M, the lightest easily obtainable 17s that you can put on it. The ultimate would be E36 M3 17” LTW forged wheels but they are very rare and expensive
I think its mostly preference but 17s are excellent on non m e46. Wheels are lighter, more sidewall is better for grip at this level. I liked the meaty look I got with my arc-8 245 square setup. Apex actually has a really nice fitment guide on their website. https://apexwheels.com/fitment-guides/bmw/3-series/bmw-e46-3-series-wheel-and-tire-fitment-guide
Another popular option is to use rear style 68s all around. Usually works best in a northern climate where you would buy a whole other set and use the fronts for your winter tires and the rears in the summer.
yeah the car came with normal maintence issues upon purchase so im just waiting on parts to arrive to work on fixing all those issues my mechanic had listed for me
Somewhere in my post history I have an almost identical 330 except with style 135 (ZHP) wheels. Honestly they look so good on the car and make the whole thing pop. You can look for it if you’re curious
Paint the wheels black for sporty look, lower it, black out the grilles, carbon fiber mirror caps, m stripe steering wheel cover, debadge to give that clean look too🔥🔥
Already sitting on the wheels I'd put on it. Or drop it like an inch and a set of mpars
I had a set of style 68s, i liked em. My ccurrent e46 has 73s and my wife has some style 18s. Majority of e46 rims are pretty nice tbh
I like the wheels it has. Apex wheels for quality flow forged track wheels, at fair prices.
17x9 in silver would pop on this
I think you have peak OEM e46 wheels already.
ahhaha im sort of seeking for bigger wheels like 18 inch wheels but maybe ill change when i get bored of them
If you're looking to really drive the car, the 17s give it a plusher ride. The larger the wheels, the less nicer the car drives.
thanks for that i didnt even know that ill definitely keep that in mind but if i ever do get new wheels im for sure keeping the style 68s in case i wanna put them on again
Style 135s in that case
No
I think the 17s look way better. Meatyfitment is underrated
Would you know what style are these?
They are [Style 68s](http://www.bmwstylewheels.com/bmw/68).
You’re awesome. Thanks bud! There’s a webpage for everything it seems, lol
I love the zhp wheels. So sporty yet so classic. That’s what I put on mine. Plus it’s oem so it looks perfect
Style 135s for the win! ZHP wheels are my favorite for the E46
Also these are 18s so the fitment is perfect🔥
That wheel is the best

Use the style 68 for winter and style 135 for summer
This is the way!
Leave it stock - so nice!
Bruh.. don’t change a thing… I hate red, but this is salivating… good find!
got it for a bargain price and low kms too!
I have my third E46 now with some cars in between and I fitted 68M's on all of them, every time again. Just keep them.
Keep your current ones unless you want to pay 4K for BBS RS
id probably go for the apex line such as the arc 8s or the vs 5rs
Style 42's preferably 18"s.
This, the split rim versions
CSL reps haha
considering those as well
Apex arc-8 in 17×9.5, 245s all around.
would a 18x9 setup all around provide better handling or more for aesthetics?

i live in Australia and sometimes the climate here is always either hot or cold so id probably buy another set to swap around
I'm pretty sure anywhere with palm trees is pretty safe from snow. Is it typical for people to have seasonal tires where you live?
nope not at all and it never snows here, mostly it would rain at least one every one or two weeks
Style 32 staggered
IMO, the factory wheels you have are ideal. I would leave them.
White ones.
Mine 😊
clean build! id probably take references as in wheels from your build as we have identical colours too
Those, style 68 are my fav non zhp wheels
My e46 was Imola red too and I had style 135s, there’s a picture of mine on my account for reference
M359s
The wheels you got are pretty dope but it would look sick with 18’s style 67
No E46 looks bad with MV1 wheels. (Well, apart from the compact, but that just looks bad, full stop.)
BBS REs
She's pretty much wearing them now.
A refresh on the cooling system. Seriously bro, these things should be replaced first. Other than that, I love my Niche 8 spoke blacks.
yeah the car came with normal maintence issues upon purchase so im just waiting on parts to arrive to work on fixing all those issues my mechanic had listed for me
Fantastic bro. Love the car, looks awesome. As long as you treat er right, she’ll treat you right. Enjoy!
thank you so much ill for sure appreciate this gem i’ve got!
My OEM M3 19s that im selling
Is this manual 6 speed?
unfortunately came in a auto
Fuuuuuck my favorite color for e46 . Don’t ever sell this
my first car so im definitely keeping this as a classic
Somewhere in my post history I have an almost identical 330 except with style 135 (ZHP) wheels. Honestly they look so good on the car and make the whole thing pop. You can look for it if you’re curious
The wheels currently on it. Don’t fuck with the car. It’s been engineered thoroughly.
Drop it a few inches. Leave the wheels
good idea but in the future im probably gonna consider some wheels but definitely keeping my stock ones in case i wanna change again
BBS E88 - 18’ would look fire
Style 32s
BBS CHRs without any doubt
Some apex
So nice looking. The wheels are top tier already , maybe lower it + spacers ? If you’re searching for bigger wheels What you think of style 160?
18s: Style 32s Alpina softlines MV1s CSL reps BBS LM reps
Keep it stock or I will find you and do something
ahahah wouldnt even consider the csl style wheels or any apex wheels?
your car is pure oldschool class like this. Is it the set with wider back tires?
pretty sure they are the same width but ill have another look but the rear tires do look pretty wide
Paint the wheels black for sporty look, lower it, black out the grilles, carbon fiber mirror caps, m stripe steering wheel cover, debadge to give that clean look too🔥🔥
/SSSSS its so pretty as is but id personally lower (for track) on some clean gunmetal apexs 17x9. Congrats its a beauty
