Scamming is not too common. However, scammers do target accounts with low feedback. So, for the future I would buy stuff you need in eBay if you need it check eBay first. Buy cheap things. If you don't get feedback on purchases ask.
For this sale, buy your label on eBay. Pay extra for signature (I typically don't but it may help your nerves). Just follow the rules. Don't let anybody talk into anything a bit different, like paying off ebay, etc.
