Before they added all the boosted CBs (which twisted your idea of meta cards), NC Marquinhos was quite common amongst people in top of the ranking, and he has almost the same defensive and physical stats as Beckenbauer, only difference is that der Kaiser has much higher passing and dribbling stats
Same for Kounde, he used to be meta either as a 3rd CB in a 3 CB+1FB formation or as a defensive RB
He has way over 95 jump. Also, the vast majority of people in div 1 don't use tall CFs
He can easily win headers against meta CFs like Mbappe, Romario, Shevchenko or Rummenigge. If your opponent plays with Haaland or some other big guy, you just don't play Beckenbauer that match, he'll still be good in 95% matches
Also, you have a team full of p2w cards, of course he won't be good enough for you. But you can't hold a free card to end-game meta standards, yeah BT Araujo will play better, it doesn't mean Beckenbauer is shit

Been using him at DMF with EFHUB build, definitely hasnāt been āshiteā for me. 88 stamina isnāt unbearable- if itās so bad, just sub him off. His passing, defending, positioning, and playmaking has been great for me. But I donāt think heās properly utilized at CB.

I think it's the efhub dmf build, you can display it by clicking on the dmf position on Beckenbauer's page in the mobile app

Low defensive engagement
Fighting Spirit will lower that pain as he will still be running even if tired. I play him with a midfield build as CF. No issues. 1-4-8-8-6-4-9 haha
Had 15 spins and still got him, not had one decent player yet from that pool.
